the room was like a prison cell.the tv did not work.the kitchen area was a complete mess and the toilet and bathrooms which should be checked hourly and cleaned when and if needed where very ordinary..i did not shower.for approx. $10 to $ 20 extra you can stay in far superior comfort and surroundings.

Really good hostel, perfect location, really good breakfast. Only problem was wifi. Had to be paid for, which was fine, but even after paying the wifi was very slow in the rooms to the point of being unusable. If you charge for wifi make sure it's good.

Awesome experience. Most people there are travelling solo and is therefore super easy to get talking to people. This was my first hostel is Australia and as an 18 year old male travelling solo is was great to get to talk to people. The free breakfast is great too but the kitchen is poor. The oven was let's say 'vintage' and almost no space to prep food.

Loved the atmosphere in general. Noise travels quite easy through walls and doors, so even if the hostel in general is quiet, it can seem slight noise at times. Would highly recommend the nunnery in the future!

Awesome location and beautiful place. Not a beer-pong hostel but still social.

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed in. Had a really nice mix of people and a nice feel to it and not too big either. Slightly out the main city centre but the tram stops outside and the local area is really cool with some amazing places to eat and drink we went to a place called Grub which was pretty sweet, there's a map with the nearby places on it too. Staff were super helpful and friendly and the place was really clean with some outdoor areas. A really quirky, chilled place to stay.

Best hostel I've stayed in to date.... staff are really friendly and helpful. Great location and nice bbq area and communal room to hang out in unlike many other hostels.
