Great position, good flat, wonderful staff!

The location was very good, basically the most important things were at a walk distance!! So get your calves ready because you're gonna walk A LOT!!! It was good because we had the flat for ourselves! The BIG negative point, we arrived late (flight delayed) and the receptionnist arrived 1hour and 20 minutes after we called him eventhough we had arranged a late arrival check in... So in the end it was a good flat, not too clean but not dirty either, just beware of the late check ins...

Great option to stay with 4 people and have your own place for that price

I have very mixed feelings on the Old Schoolhouse. We were put in a shared apartment as we had expected, but told that the next day we would have to move rooms. This was a pain and not very proffesional. However where we were moved we had the whole apartment to ourselves, with a great kitchen and all appliances needed to be self contained. HOWEVER the apartment had no WIFI as it was advertised and as we had expected and paid for, very inconvenient. The TV did not work either but big deal.

The location was great and the wifi was good, but that was it. I don't expect much from a hostel, but this was one of the worst I've ever experienced. The entire apartment was incredibly dirty, especially the kitchen facilities and the shared toilet, which was NEVER cleaned, not even once, during our entire stay. The door of our room was broken and didn't close, so much for security and privacy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Definitely not going there again.

I'm extremely disappointed by this place. The check-in is in a dodgy office far away from the main accommodation, where no one is sitting most of the time. Since I arrived after 5pm I had to arrange a meeting with the manager, who came 30 mins late and was kind of bargaining the room and the price on the spot (thus I seriously doubt about the cleanliness). I had to pay in CASH but he gave me NO RECEIPT! He promised to send one by e-mail but after a week he failed to do so, ignoring my e-mails.

We woke up and saw the castle from our bed!! Friendly and excellent location,will be back for sure !

This is not a hostel, but a room in an apartment. I did not like the "receptionist", as thre was no reception. If you decide to rent a room there, do not forget the guy's phone number and a proof of your boooking, because the guy did not know my name !

Centrally located and well priced for the facilities. Felt like we had our own apartment. Great little kitchen and bathroom. Would use this place again.

Great location and decent price for the place. However, WIFI was non-functional, one heater did not work, toilet seat had fallen off. Overall, still not a bad place for the money spent.

The staff that run this hostel/apartments were fantastic - very helpful, always happy to answer any questions we had. It can be tricky to check in - but we called ahead, and the staff continued to call us to ensure we got to the right place, and Andy even picked us up which was really helpful (we had to check in late at night). The apartments themselves were in a great location, with fantastic facilities. Awesome value for money.
