The Only Inn was a fun, quirky place with a great atmosphere. We especially loved the waffle breakfast served complimentary down at the bar! However, we also felt that the rooms were quite small for the price, and having only 2 showers available for (by my count) 20+ people is just silly.

The Only is a great Hostel. It isn't a big one and that's why it is familiary. The staff was very friendly and the best thing was the amazing waffle breakfast!!

Obviously the best part of this hostel was the breakfast, never change it! Bit loud sometimes, but it was like being in a big family.

Great hostel, far better than the others I've seen in US/Canada. Best hostel breakfast ever (most cheap hotels cannot compete against!). Nice bar direct below (which also does the reception stuff). In the evening you could hear music from the bar a little bit, but wasn't too loud. Hostel is a 20-30 minutes trip from main station with metro, still fine. Only two bathrooms for about 30-40 beds (I'm guessing that number) is a little bit tight, could use one more.

Very unique experience, and one we loved. The hostel was cleaned every morning and there was ample room for storage. Very funky hostel with a great bar below (but hardly heard in the hostel upstairs), and on the other side, a great tea and coffee shop, great to hang out at. The breakfast was very filling (fruit and waffles and coffee/tea). Located near many different restauraunts and very near the subway. I would highly recommend it, and have booked our next trip already.

This was my favourite hostel in Toronto. It doesn't feel as new or hotel-esque, but it has the kind of personality that made me first fall for hostelling. I didn't really fall for the bigger fancier hostels in Toronto; this place, I felt at home, it was relaxed and easy to talk to new people but without being annoyingly "party" in the hostel itself; the local bar downstairs was great for when you did want a drink. Free breakfast quality is amazing; even my latte was free! Cafe staff were great!

Fantastic little hostel! It's a little way out of downtown but it's right on the subway. What it lacks in location is made up by the amazing staff, Wei in particular made my stay she was always around to answer any questions with a giant smile. The long term stayers made for late nights and long chats. I will return ASAP and not just for the waffles!!

Everything is good except the location is in Greek town which is a little far from downtown, however, it's also kind of good since we had very nice Greek food for dinner! Also, the free Breakfast is very very nice!

500characters cannot begin to describe my stay. After deportation from Heathrow, I was shipped back to Toronto with a 24 hour layover for Albany. I booked a single night at theOnly, and have stayed for two weeks with another week ahead of me. My goal was complete spontaneity and immersive experience. TheOnly attracts characters of all age and background, of spontaneous unicity and unbreakable solidity in lifes direction. It can serve as a hub and as a home, a network and family. It is theOnly.

Check-in is in the café downstairs, so there will be a bit of a wait if they're busy, but otherwise no major issues.

A bit cramped, but otherwise a nice place. Good for public transit, and free breakfast is a plus.

The perfect Hostel for backpackers to stay at! Best bar, best café. It's really one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, people are so friendly and welcome to everybody, waffle-breakfast was amazing! Thanks :)

Great hostel and conveniently near metro which can take you about anywhere in Toronto. The only negative thing I would have to say about this hostel were the beds (mattresses) and choice of blankets. It was pretty cold in the room and the blankets were more of a throw you have on your couch.
