Not well maintainend - There was no soap in the restrooms for 4 days no refill! Additionally it was very hot and sticky in the room. Dirty kitchen area.

The location is great, right in the heart of King's Cross. Despite what you may hear, King's Cross is really no more sketchy than any urban neighborhood...least in the States (where I'm from). The staff here are so genuinely helpful and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask them for advice/service.

Stayed in a private room with ensuite. The room only just fitted a queen bed in it and the "ensuite" was not exactly ideal. There was no hot water to have showers and the safe in our room was broken. I realise this is a backpackers and not a hotel, but still, for the price we paid I would've expected a lot more.

this hostel was okay, have been to better though, the bed squeaked a lot, and was quite loud all night, that didn't bother me though, the showers were very inconsistent, could never stay the same temperature, and no water pressure. was within walking distance, if you didn't mind walking, to most places, or close to the train station. was all i needed. thanks

Good hostel, with clean room (4 bed dorm). Also clean bathroom. Good location, just 2 minutes walk to subway. Near the hostel are a lot of bars, restaurants etc.

Value for money would have been perfect if it wasn't for the Christmas mark up, which was a bit excessive. Other than that, a top place to stay.

Kitchen is far far to small. Why is there a coke machine instead of another (much needed) fridge? Why are there computers instead of more (again, much need) tables and chairs? Also security is terrible. I was on the ground floor and came home two different times to find a person not from the hostel sleeping in my bed. They say "no guests" but have no way of enforcing it. No where to hangout after 10 as porch shuts at 10.Good things: staff are very friendly. underbed lockers. tv room big.

The staff was amazing and super helpfull, a huge plus for that. Also the facilities were good. We stayed in a private room, which was kind of small but worth the money absolutely. In the mornings you could hear noices from the dining area, but luckily it was closed during the night so we got a good night sleep. Also, the location was good, as the train station was next door and a grocery store near by. All in all, it was a very cute hostel and I would reccommend it to others!

A good hostel. Free wifi would make an excellent hostel of it.

This was a great hostel; lots of fun, the atmosphere is great and the nightly outings were fantastic. My only complaint is that the kitchen and outside eating area are shut down so early; 10pm is too early to be kicking people out of there. When you're staying at a hostel like that, you have to accept that there will be a bit of noise in the evening, so midnight would be a much better time to close it.

Our room was absolutely dirty. It seemed as someone vomited on the floor and it smelled like that. There was supposed to be a spring clean after our first night but nothing happened. After we complained about that the next day the sign was gone but the dirt was still there. At our last day we heard from other guests that we had one of the "good" rooms, so: Never again.
