This hostel has a very familiar atmosphere (max. 52 ppl)! In the big and clean common area people sit together and chat. The manager is so nice and they take good care of it! I would highly recommend this hostel. Close to king cross station and pub, restaurant, party area it is in a quiet street My room had an own bathroom (4 pll share), i loved it! 5-7 min walk to the opera trough the botanic garden. So beautiful this part of the city. Guests are so friednly to each other!!

Really great familar atmosphere and every evening the guests go to the big table and hang. Perfect for solo travelers who wants to meet nice people. Hostel is cheap and you get good value for the money. Hostel is cleaned everyday but the toilets need to be better cleaned. The toilet (in my 10 dorms ensuite) was very tiny too. The kitchen was okay, good variety of kitchen equipments and everything worked good. The kitchen was unfortuently very crowded in the evening. I recommend the hostel!

We lived in the 10 bed dorm and it was an extreamly small room to fit 10 people in, this in combination with that alot of the residents at the hostel are staying for several months resulted in a sweat stenching and sickness inducing atmosphere. No soap and no towels in the single toilet all 10 shared, but at least it was equipped with cockroaches. If you stay at another room or stay there at another time it might not be this bad, but we considered moving to another hostel and pay for both

The place is just OK. You have to find your way and basically help yourself with most things here as it seems that staff is just from young people on a working holiday job so they don't really care much about guests. Not that a hostel should be baby sitting guests but a bit more of help and orientation would be very much appreciated. Breakfast is toast, peanut butter and tea. I guess the best thing about this place is that you get 250 MB worth of WiFi every day.

The cleanliness of this hostel is what really let it down. The whole building could do with some time and money being spent on it. The room absolutely stank of feet and was held open by a shoe, no key was even given (we was in room 4). We even contemplated sleeping in the communal area as we couldn't face the smell of our room. The majority of the guests were friendly. The hostel is more for people trying to find jobs. the positives are its in a good location and free breakfast is alway good!

It's a great hostel where the people together will connect like a family. It's not easy to leave and say goodbye to the great people staying here all the time, the travellers really make this hostel with creating a great atmosphere. Loved it!

Really bad smelling dorm because of the sweat/maybe-I-don't-wanna-know-what-exactly soaked carpet. Unfriendly staff. I saw somebody clean, but I don't what it was. Impossible she cleanes the toilets because they were still gross after.

The kitchen could be a little more clean and tiny, because there wasn't that much people, but in general, really good place.

I spent some great time in Palms, the team is very kind and available if you need something! The hostel is agreable and comfortable ! The location is just next to the train station, so when you are completely full with your stuff, no worries! The kitchen is very clean and you have all you need! Thank you very much guys! See you
