really nice hostel, night time security is good with a pin pad system to get in, location is convinient to everything although kings cross itself is not the best area in sydney to stay. staff where really nice, there wasnt much to do in the hostel there was 2 trips to the beach the whole time i stayed there which was nice but other than that nothing to do they could maybe organise a bar crawl or something like other hostels do...hostel was very clean and the beds where amazingly comfortable

A hostel with a unique character and a really cool staff, who gives its best to offer daily activities and ensure a unique stay at this hostel (e.g. poker night or a trip to the blue mountains). However, some of hostel inhabitants stay for a longer period and "make themselves feel like at home" with all the side effects, e.g. messed up rooms and throwing clothes on the floor, which doesn't appear nice. However, this hostel stands out through its unique atmosphere and very good prices in sydney.

This was an absolutely disgusting hostel - a complete disappointment. The photos displayed on hostelworld and on the hostel's own website are nowhere near representative of what we saw. After a confusion over the booking (on their part), we were then over charged. The room we were put in was extremely dirty and obviously hadn't been cleaned for ages. The bathroom was disgusting.. Refusal of a refund. Been travelling a year - worst hostel i've stayed in.

i stayed there only one night, but was still quite nice. was easy to get in touch with people and the hostel is located in a quite cool area. not far from the opera house.
