BBQ on Sunday is nice!

Gunther prepares the best BBQ we've had in ages. Also very helpful & considerate of his guests. The Pelican Larry hostel lay-out is particularly conducive to socializing with other hostelers as well as being attractively decorated. We would highly recommend to anyone -- any age - to stay at this hostel.

The owner did not return my emails when I was trying to book my accommodations. There was an issue with payment (they completely forgot to charge me) and seriously inconvenienced me in the process of trying to get payment. I am not unethical so I would never try to cheat them but dont make my like difficult when YOU mess up! I will advise anyone going to Cali to stay somewhere else and avoid Pelican Larry.

I stayed a few nights at this hostel and I was very pleased. The owner, Gunther is very attentive and very kind. The whole staff was very nice too. Even though there are many beds with many people staying for New Years it never felt crampt. The hostel is spacious and the kitchen is big. I highly recommend then BBQ the Gunther throws down. The chicken was great! The only complaint is that I couldn´t stay longer. Hope you all have a Happy New Year!

Had a great stay at the pellican larry. Gunter put on one of the best bbq i´ve had since i left home and was always willing to provide help

Perlican Larry is great, I liked the peolpe who worked there, they're very friendly and helpful. The beds are awesome, so comfortable and showers with good pressure and warm/hot water.. The BBQ are delicious.

The staff was extremely helpful and very nice!The hostels kept in very good shape and is very clean!

I stayed there for a few nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people around!

This hostel was ok . We were only there for one night and it was sufficient . The staff were a little weird

Pelican Larry is a great place to stay in Cali. Spacious dorms with great beds, nice hot showers, a big kitchen. And most important, it has a really friendly atmosphere and the owner Günther is happy to offer help and information about things to in Cali. And the barbecue on Sunday was amazing!

The Pelican Larry is a great place to stay. It is large with lots of room in the dormitories. The staff where very nice and Gunther the owner is a genuinely nice guy and is happy to help in anyway he can. It was always clean. The internet is very fast and there is a big kitchen to cook food. Also situated in a good spot. It has a very relaxed fee. I would recommend staying here.

The hostel is good, but they could offer breakfast. But appart from that, I believe that The Pelican Larry is very good. The location is good too.

This is a great hostel with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It is in a great location, not far from the bus station and there is plenty of nightlife and restaurants within walking distance and even more in a short taxi ride. The kitchen is big and well equipped and the free coffee is always hot and flowing. The showers are amazing, the best in Colombia - so hot and powerful. The rooms are spacious with comfortable and large bunk beds and I was offered a free towel which was good.
