Love vibe and it's more "retro" hostel where it's kinda free-for-all do what you want. Lots of long term stay people. The bathrooms upstairs are in desparate need of upgrade. No personal lockers in rooms. Kitchen had everything you need the sofa lounge area was good. Met some cool people here. Prob the busiest hostel in Hobart.

Great place! Very cozy, nice atmosphere. There's lots of space to hang out, fireplaces (just what you need in the tasmanian winter). The staff is helpful, friendly and creating a nice atmosphere.

Not receptive with travellers, even if they have already stayed in the place! I've stayed in many hostels all over the world and that is the first one that charged a daily fee when I request to use the shower after check out!!

Need to clean up and renovate the bathrooms a little bit. Also need an oven and bigger fridge. Atmosphere is fantastic, although during Winter weeks. Large common area.

It's a nice hostel, well located 2 minutes walk from the coach station, and about 15 min walk from Salamanca. It is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful, but the facilites are a bit old and there's no central heating, so if you go in winter, you need the heater on in the room almost the whole day.

Was a really comfortable hostel to stay in, very relaxed and friendly. Wasn't as lively as other hostels I've stayed in but was a nice relaxing change.

Great place to stay. The staff were brilliant. Lots of great advice on things to do and just generally really friendly people. I went on the free shuttle bus up to Mt Wellington which was great. My only criticism is it would have been better if there had been lights in each bed and more power sockets. Would definitely recommend.

Staff are really friendly. The general atmosphere of the place was really pleasant, though the place itself is a little run down, in my opinion. The floor creaks at certain places, so in some room you can hear people walking about on the floor above you.
