Pros: amazing pool, great kitchen, tv room with lots of space and great movies and tv channels, Pablo Escabar tour Cons: staff were not helpful when it came to restaurants, things to do and general enthusiasm and politeness. The girls never once went out of their way to be helpful or accommodating to us which was really disappointing. The hostel also doesn't cook any food and it is a 10 min walk at least to the closest restaurants and shops. Area feels safe though which is a big plus!
Water pressure was a little off but not a big deal. Otherwise couldn't have asked for a better location, helpful staff, and facilities. Great place! I will stay here again next time I am in Medellin!
Juan the bar tender made the hostel experience a million times better and could not have been friendlier or more interesting to talk to. Overall the hostel was like a ghost town even on the weekend (I spent 8 nights here). Perhaps a good hostel if travelling with friends but not alone. Great facilities, with pool table, darts, swimming pool, basketball/soccer court, and some basic gym equipment.
A little bit too far from the El Poblado region. Make your own breakfast of eggs if you're down early. Not a good atmosphere in the hostel.
has a pool, sauna, tv room, nice deck area and bar which is really nice. includes breakfast which u have to cook yourself. location is ok. some really nice staff. one of the staff members runs a tour a waterfall which is brilliant. enjoyed my time here.
Great time at The Pit Stop. Ending up staying here for 10 days after only booking two. The staff are amazing, I needed an emergency dental appointment and the receptionist sorted everything out for me. TV room, pool and stream room are perfect for those hungover mornings, almost didn't want to leave the hostel!
The staff could not explain a lot about where to go in medellin. It would be Nice to have some information about the must sees and how to go there.
Spacious, cool and comfortable rooms. Good atmosphere. Clean. Reception always willing to help. The bad: a little away from the nightlife area.
Some of the best facilities I've ever had at a hostel. Staff are unbelievably helpful and speak good English. They will even order you takeaway for those hungover days. The cleaners make your bed every morning and the place is always clean. Unbelievably good value for money, would highly recommend.
Has everythingeverything from stemroom to movie room to swimming pool etc. But is a bit out of the way, a good walk to shops restaurants and metro. These two things lower your ambition to leave amd explore meddilin. Bit of a party hostile, but has to many distractions, and queit hard to find a place to chill.(eg only 3hammocks) Bedrooms are lovely, very comfortable and spacious.
Great facilities, you can meet lot's of people and have a blast. Amazing staff, nice bar service and outstanding cleaning team.
Lacks of good atmosphere, bad smell of the room was fixed next day, good prices of tours, a bit far from bars and restaurants, something got stolen from our room, they never told us where the lockers where
