Stayed for 4 nights and had a good stay overall. The pool and bar are definitely a big plus. Only thing i'd like to see improve at the hostel is the restrooms.

Great hostel in a great location, staff are friendly and hostel is nice. Pool is nice and good area outside. Quite a few rules however, for example no use of outside area after midnight and must be quiet everywhere. Apart from this it's a good hostel.

Large hostel with a good atmosphere. Lots to keep you entertained (pool, basketball, ping pong, tv lounge) as well as a bar and loads of information for activities to do in Medellin. It's about 15 mins walk from Parque Lleras, but means you can get some sleep if you don't want to party all night, but are close to the action if you do. Highly recommended!

The pit stop was a fun hostel. More for the ppl that like to socialize and party. You can find your self getting stuck here and staying for a while!

Nice hostel centrally located in Patio Bonito/Medellin, supermarket, metro stop and poblado (zona rosa) all within walking distance. Hostel has got a big communal kitchen and provides free breakfast if u r up early enough as there is no garantee :) Nice swimming pool. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Good place to party but also nice and quiet after midnight. So you can get a good nights sleep. I only missed the gym mentioned on the web. Sorry one fitness machine does not make it a gym :)

Great hostel with friendly staff and lots of facilities including large outdoor area, hammocks, bar and sauna. Ended up staying a lot longer than planned as it has a good party vibe if you want to go out but also easy to get to sleep in quiet dorms if you want an early night. recommended.

We arrived at the Pitt stop hostel a couple of days before new year. They describe themselves as a "resort" but it was far from that. The room was terrible with the wall fan held on by a shoelace, which broke after a day.We were left with a fan hanging by one cord. The power point was broken so we couldn't charge anything. The shared bathroom was filthy, dirty footprints everywhere. The staff weren't helpful and made it uncomfortable to ask questions about the city. The only good thing was the people.

The best hostel I've been to so far in Medellin. The Happy Hour is great, it has a nice laid back atmosphere. It's a place you can chill in a hammock and just relax but also has a good location for heading out to the clubs. The pool is a nice touch and the cinema has a massive selection of movies if you're just looking to watch a film. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed my stay, great facilities i.e. huge bar, TV room, big kitchen and lots of open space which encourages people to socialise! Great atmosphere, excellent staff & really clean, the cleaners work very hard! My only complaint was my room was right next to the outdoor tables & opposite the kitchen so that it was hard to sleep in the morning & late at night!

The pool is a bit grubby however the facilities are good, the bar, table tennis, volleyball etc. however NOTE they have a sign at reception that says "4 free beers if you leave a GOOD review on hostel world/ trip adviser", so you can take all the good reviews with a pinch of salt. The hostel is OK but has cameras Etc everywhere so it's like big brother.
