I was only here for a night, but it was fun. It was dead because of the off season I think, but was nice overall. A little far from anything else in Mancora.

No kitchen! The computer was broke when we were there. Location is far from The center of Mancora with all restaurants and shops. And far from The Nice part of The Beach. They dont have a private Beach as described and The Beach closest to The hostel is narrow and dirty!

Hi ! I am sorry you didn´t enjoy your stay with us we do not have a kitchen you are right but we do not advertise one, we do however have a very affordable and nice restaurant which is open all day till 10pm every day. The size of the beach varies with the tide so sometimes it is narrow but it is something only nature decides but it is still extremely private especially compared to the one located in the center. The computer was not available due to the storm we had days prior however we do still have wifi available throughout the hostel and if you wished to use a computer you could have asked a staff member who would of been more than happy to help you. You are also right about the center but we like it this way, we have our own paradise away from the hustle and bustle of town and we wouldn´t have it any other way. We hope your experience here wasn´t all bad as we would love for you to come back so we can show you The Point Mancora Beach as we know it! The Point Mancora.

Thanks guys for an absolutely amazing 5 days! A big thanks to the team - Diago, Nico, Tom, Gonz, the girls in the kitchen and the girls behind the front desk. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday, along with the full moon party. The otherguests at the hostel were great as well - some of the best I've met on the trip. It was very hard to leave The Point Family. I will be recommending the hostel to everyone headed to Mancora. Thanks again. Macca (Max, Ryan)

One of my least favourite hostels. No wifi. No pcs. No locks on bedroom doors and tiny lockers so not very secure. The pool felt dirty. The food wasnt good.some showers had no water. Location was right on far end of town away from everything. We moved here from loki as they were full and the point felt like a cheap imitation

Had an absolute ball here. I was a solo female traveller and Diego the manager and all the staff made me feel very welcome. I ended up staying a week not the three days I booked. It's a little bit out so you don't have to chaos of Loki etc but you can party. Lovely hostel the cleaners are ALWAYS cleaning, the pool is great, everything was good value for money. Full moon party is legendary! Also go to the sushi place across the street!! Defiantly recommend this place!!

Very nice staff, friendly and dedicated to the guests. Very nice location at a quiet place and a short stroll down the beach to the center of town. A relaxing sphere where you can make new friends and enjoy the beach.

Nice hostel with a nice pool, however the only 'chill out sofa' was located next to a very big, loud speaker playing a very bad mix of music all day. There kitchen was very convenient however never had tiradito or chicken wings and sometimes no mexican burger. The staff were fun and sociable however one of the security men was a complete spasticated mongoloid who thought it a good idea to wack kind dogs for his own sick pleasure, i wanted to bend him over and use his stick on him...

Excellent hostel right on the beach, but it is a bit of a walk to town (not always bad). Staff are really good and the cleaners appear to be always cleaning. The bar is busy most nights and the restaurant is really good value with big portions. Rooms can be a bit warm at night but this would be my only complaint Great place to relax by the pool and beach and have some good nights out.

The hostel itself is clean and seems to be well managed. The location was nice for us since we wanted to be away from the main bars in town. A 15 minute walk down the beach. Just understand this is a party hostel (as advertised). My wife and I are in our early 30s and were the oldest guests there. The music goes until at least 2am and without good earplugs (or a really good buzz) you will not be sleeping before that.

The Point Hostel, makes a point to ensure that you are having a good time, without making you buy, buy or go here or there, just have a great time with them, that is what I loved about this place. Diego, the manger of this hostel is such a great host and he does his best even though its the low season for travelling. The staff at the hostel are beyond the kindest and very friendly and know how to handle difficult situations and at the end, they were prompt and nice about it. Recommend highly!!
