Nice atmosphere, very kind receptionist and personnel. I definitely recommend it if you're backpacking or traveling on a budget. The room was a little bit warm though, as it didn't had a fan or AC. Still, it was worth it.

Great hostel with a nice pool and bar area. Staff is really nice and helpful. Hostel is a little far from the main area, but there are always motor taxis waiting to take you there for cheap

A great hostel with good atmosphere and a really nice pool/bar areq. Only negative thing is that it's a bit far away from the town.

We go into our rooms at 3 pm but had no beds. After 6 pm, beds still haven't been made and we found out we were placed in the wrong room. We booked an all female 6 bedroom (via hostalworld.com) but were placed w/ 6 guys. We asked the reception, they seemed to have no idea but told us we could go into an 8 bedroom (female) as there is no 6 female bedroom but would have to pay 6 anyways (wtf?). also the bathrooms were really dirty when we got there, but that might be the backpackers fault.

We stayed for a week in the hostel with a group of 7 friends. We had the time of our lives! The staff was really friendly and helpful, the parties were amazing, the people staying here was also easy going and friendly. The restaurant has great food, its varied and they have really reasonable prices. On the otherside, the bar had an excellent price/quality ratio, so you could enjoy that too. Even though the hostel isn't located downtown, the transport was cheap and always available.

Great welcoming staff and there are parties every day. Beach is right next to the place and the restaurant is fantastic with many vegetarian options also

The volunteers who worked there only stuck to themselves and the other 5 guests besides me were ok.. Though it was rather boring. It's far from town. I walked during the day, but I wouldn't recommend it at all at night. I also stayed at Loki Hostel and the atmosphere was a million times better.

food from the restaurant is really great, not expensive either. wifi is a little sketchy like most places, stayed in a 10 bed room luckily it wasn't full because it was quite small, not alot of room for luggage. music was pretty loud till late but it was a Saturday so fair enough. bathrooms are good, clean. it's only a minute away from the beach, and its easy enough to walk into town.

Super chill place to relax and hang out. The location is far but there are always mototaxis waiting outside and a ride to town is only 3 soles so location is not an issue. Great pool and lounge area and pretty cool staff at the bar.

As far as it gets from town center - watch out for cabbies charging extra, and walking is a sketchy 15min. The place was both chill and a lot of fun. The bar is run by volunteer temps: they were great but that's luck. The actual staff was less helpful/friendly. Security seems lax. Breakfast was OK and there is OK food available all day for an OK price. It's not actually possible to walk down the beach: 90% of the time (tide) there is no beach. Great place to stay to just hang out at the hostel.

Bar staff more interested in playing drinking games than actually serving people. Location is a bit of ways out of town but facilities are nice.

Ok but far out of town ended up switching to Loki

Bit of a walk to the main area but the hostel itself is very nice. Good bar area & pool. Rooms were lovely but a lot of the tuk tuk drivers create quite a racket in the morning. Still there are other hostels in Mancora that will find far more to keep you awake. Would recommend.

Wonderful hostel with amazing staff. Love the slack line across the pool. Only downside is their location.

Great Hostel although a 10 minute walk out of the main part of Mancora. Not that it really matters as there's nothing in Mancora to see. Great bar at the Hostel with pool and you can buy decent meals there from the cafe/restaurant they have there.
