Great hostel. Further outside of town--about 10-15 min walk on beach. Not as noisy as hostels in town but still fun atmosphere. Relaxing. Good food. Tons of toilets and showers. Only one computer

100% recomendable!! el hostel esta a orillas del mar, es limpio y confortable. la calidez y amabilidad de su staff (Julio,Juan,Oscar,Maciel,..todos) y la belleza de la playa de MAncora,hacen de The Point el MEJOR LUGAR para disfrutar.realmente uno no desea salir de ese paraiso.

Only meant to stay for a couple nights but we ended up staying for longer because we met great people and had so much fun. Great place to slow down and rest on your way to Ecuador or in to Peru.

Loved the place.. Booked 2 days and stayed 11.. Fun to be had, awesome little beach cabin doubles and many parties.. Would recommend to anyone in search of chill during the day and fun at night.. Wicked staff..

The point is definitely lots of fun, especially if you are in to partying all night. So, do not complain if you expect a good night sleep. The beachfront bungalows are amazing!
