You pay for what you get; the kitchen really needs updating and a cooker would be great. If you\'re travelling by yourself you don\'t really want to stay here as the only company I had were three 40+ men who were on laptops all the time. On the plus side the staff were useful in directions etc, and with only me in the hostel, my en suite was much appreciated after sharing bathrooms it the other hostels. You pay for what you get; the kitchen really needs updating and a cooker would be great. Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The only nice memeber of staff was the cleaning lady. No one else would give you the time of day. Not in boston but 40 mins outside downtown I would never recommend this this its horrible.Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The only nice memeber of staff was the cleaning lady. This hostel was somewhat depressing. The staff was dreary, the beds were those plastic cushion uncomfortable mess, and there was no activities/character as far as I could tell. I'm sure this was a more lively hostel years ago, but has since quickly went downhill. This hostel was somewhat depressing. I liked this little hostel! It wasn´t in the city centre, but it was easy to get there by bus and metro. The rooms were small but clean and we had a nice bathroom in our room of 6 people. The linen, towels and the use of internet was free and staff was friendly. It was also nice to see the neighbourhood and live in a "traditional" house (Prescott is the second oldest hostel in Boston area, by the way!). I would definitely go again, it wasn´t luxus but it was comfy! :)I liked this little hostel! It wasn´t in the city centre, but it was easy to get there by bus and metro. The rooms are even for a Hostel pretty small. Unfortunately, the staff gave us the wrong key for the frontdoor and therefore we had to wait in front of the Hostel for one hour during the night to get in.The rooms are even for a Hostel pretty small. there is no kitchen, just a micromave and a fridge. The heating from the romms depends on the mood from the reception, that means, that we have frozen really bad 3 nights. Nobody cares if its loud in the middle of the night. I booked also a female dorm and found at the end of the day men in it. But you have your own bathroom. From Wed to Sun its quite expensive, so the next time I'll be in Boston I'll go to the YMCAthere is no kitchen, just a micromave and a fridge. Hostel was ok, though bedding really needs to be updated. Sheets and blankets were very old with holes in them. Room was a little cramped. Only reason to stay there would be if other hostels in Boston are booked out. Seems as though for the same money you can stay in downtown Boston and get breakfast included. This hostel may have been an award winner in the past but times have changed. The location is terrible if you are trying to see the sights and the bunks / matresses / social area were a joke. Reopen the bar! Nevertheless I did meet some cool ppl and characters at a \"Moes Tavern\" the place recommends around the corner (for some unknown reason). This hostel may have been an award winner in the past but times have changed.
