The hostel has a really nice layout and the rooms are spacious. We went in off season so there were barely anyone but I could see how this space won't feel crammed when there are multiple guests. Reception & kitchen are separately from dorms, unlike Chili Kiwi where it is super crammed. The private room we stayed in is nice, but the heater is not sufficient for the room. Staff is nice, but not too knowledgeable about other activities to do besides the tours offered (ex: local bus to termas, NP)

We stayed in 3 hostels in Pucón, and Princess Insolante was the best by far. It's got good security, it's clean, has a really great kitchen, and a fantastic atmosphere. The amazing staff made us feel like family and we felt completely at home. I wish we could have stayed forever!!

The hostel was fine although we tried to book the volcano hike through the owner and the company then refused to give us our money back to us. Eventually we managed to get 60% back but make sure you don't get taken up when they clearly know you can't hike (they told us the conditions were perfect).

This hostel knows what they're doing. I highly recommend staying here!! It's very well run by people who care and the staff is really nice. The location is great- right next to the market and around the corner from the main street. Dorm beds are soooo comfortable, with private lockers and lights. Bathrooms/showers are new and clean. The outdoors and hangout space is great- fire pit, slack-line, treehouse, a deck and a yard. No breakfast, but they have fruit and coffee/tea out all day. THE BEST!

Really lovely hostel- incredibly friendly staff and great atmosphere; one caveat- don't book activities through the hostel, they are overpriced. The one I did book through the hostel, climbing the volcano, came highly recommended by the staff (they specifically said it was important to book a difficult hike through them and not a random tourist agency), but the guide was horrible (rude, bored, even put headphones in while hiking and walked 30 feet ahead of us)

It's in a great location and there is a great space to drink and have a Bon fire. Totally recommend it.
