The Princesa Insolente Hostel is a boutique-style, safe and female-friendly hostel with a chilled atmosphere. Our neighbourhood is not the best if you are looking for party and loudness, or if you want to stay in the most modern part of our capital, we are situaded in the old part of Santiago on purpose so our guests can have a taste of it, our street Moneda, the oldest street of Santiago city, will also take you straight to down town so you can walk and admire the old fashion style of Santiago of Santiago city . Good bars around and best restaurants, just check our panel at reception for good recommendations at your arrival. Don´t miss Brasil Square, Barrio Yungay, Parque Quinta Normal, Barrio Concha y Toro, Parque de los Reyes,Galpon Victor Jara, the interesting Human Rights Museum, 2 main churches and a lot of great spots if you ask for our directions around the area.
Juane (surfer since childhood), Andrea (the devil angel) and the rest of the crew at the hostel with a mixture of energy and a bit of charms will seduce you into our Princesa insolente`s world life and philosophy and wil be always happy to welcome you home.
Our proper style together with the vibes of the crazy characters that have come along impregnating us, will make out of Chile and the hostel one of those great friends you met by chance, if it`s not the best experience of your life I would definitely say that you will remember us! so feel free to get involved with the Chilean style and taste, let`s enjoy with good music and bepart of Princesa Insolente Hostel! I think what Hostelworld guests like best about us is our location in the Barrio Brasil area, which means endless restaurants, pubs and 'picadas' (small economical food stores) - it's a culinary treasure. As a whole, we like to help motivate people to get to know the city, with different offerings of tours, whether it's a quick visit to the amazing city of Valparaiso or a trip to the mountain or a visit to a winery like Concha y Toro or Undurraga.

Our passengers come of all ages and styles. We have a set-up that allows everyone to feel included. Young people will find an excellent place to chill, to be and let be. Older guests will be absorbed with the relaxed environment, and the parties which intend to unite the guests will always be respectful and within reasonable limits. This hostel is amazing. Two reasonably fast computers with net access that were free quite often. Really comfy lounge area with massive TV. Breakfast is as many eggs as you want with bread and spreads galor. Good toilets and decent showers with hot water. The vibe here is really good. Bring your own lock for the lockers, they are nice and big so you can fit your whole bag in. I suggest booking as many days as you can here over the net as its a little more expensive if you book at the hostel.

Good hostel, comfortable/clean! Not close to restaurants or bars but close to the metro. Breakfast was good/included eggs. They had free sushi and drinks on the huge patio one night. Good vibes, felt very safe although no locks on rooms. Cómodo y limpio. Buena onda. El desayuno incluye huevos. Hay un gran patio/bar que era divertido. Había sushi y bebidas gratis en el patio una noche. La ubicación no era muy conveniente pero cerca del metro. Muy seguro pero no hay cerraduras en cuartos.
