Approximately 5 minutes walk will bring you to the beautiful Museumplein, the home of the Rijksmuseum, with the most important collection of Dutch old masters, sculptures, prints and antique furniture and to the Van Gogh Museum which shows over 200 of the artist prime works, as well as contemporary artists. The Stedelijk Museum has an outstanding collection of modern art, photography, video and design.
The city famous markets, Albert Cuyp, the colorful Flowers Market, and the Waterlooplein flea market, are all within a walking distance and can be easily reached from the Hotel.

The Quentin is a lovely, and clean hotel with friendly reception staff. At first it seems its in a quiet area but really it only took less than five minutes to walk to Leidesplein where there is a lot of activity. Trams also easy to get from there all the way to Central Station. The room was a bit small but none the less very comfortable and warm and clean. We felt it was quite a lot of money but then it seems thats what you have to pay to be in central amsterdam.
