WHAT A PLACE TO STAY IT'S VERY GOOD AND WOULD PASS IT ON TO ANY ONE GOING CARDIFF TOP MARKS TO ALL STAFF

I loved this hostel! This was the last of four hostels on my trip, and it was my favorite in terms of helpfulness of staff and cleanliness. The house is beautiful and well-kept and has a great location within walking distance of the train station, the castle, and downtown Cardiff. I would definitely recommend Riverhouse, thanks Abi and Charlie!

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was just so perfect. Everything works, everything is clean, breakfast is amazing, staff is very polite and helpful, location is excellent (2mins walk from centre, but still not near any main roads). Probably only thing that could be better is beds, they were not the very best. But heck that's just something you deal with when you travel! Probably the best hostel in the world! Great job Charlie & Abi!

Very comfortable place despite the room where I stayed in was tiny. Every place was clean even toilets.

Wow! Charlie and Abi were just amazing and so friendly. Best place we have stayed so far. Felt at home as soon as we arrived. Very clean, comfy beds, great location, fabulous breakfast and lovely free happy hours most nights to help you mingle with others if you want to. Also very modern bathrooms. Great value for money.

The place has an awesome location. .near next to any thing you want to see in city or the bay area. Worth giving it a shot if planning a trip to city of cardiff

Fantastic hostel, top notch facilities (best kitchen I've come accross), great staff, incredibly clean & great location.

The best hostel I have ever been! The location is very good (5 minutes to the central station), the place is very clean, and the breakfast is what I call a real breakfast! The only "negative" thing is the size of the dinning room : it is sometime a bit small when a lot of people wants to have their breakfast at the same time.

Lovely atmosphere, staff and other people staying. Amazing breakfast, best I have ever had in a hostel. Would recommend!!!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hostel and it was just a great as I remembered, an excellent location for sightseeing in and around Cardiff (and let's not forget the amazing free breakfast).

Abi and Charlie made a lovely, homely place to stay. They go to extremes to provide everything you might need or want during your stay (extraordinary breakfast (never shortage of anything), evenings with free cake or something like that, nice tv room with lots of dvd's and wii, free wifi all through the building). Would definitely stay here again!

It was my 1st time staying in a hostel. I was only there for one night, but everything was perfect. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was diverse and tasty and for a longer stay, much entertainment is provided like games or DVDs etc. I plan on visiting Cardiff again and I'd definitely book this hostel again. The location is perfect, because it's near the Central Station, therefore near the City Centre and Bute Park is only a few minutes away,so you've got everything you need

This hostel was outstanding! By far the best one I stayed in while I was in the UK. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They stored our bags because we arrived before check-in and then gave us a map and showed us great places to go in Cardiff. They also provided supper for free if we signed up on the white board before leaving for the day. The beds, rooms, and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and really a lot of fun to stay there.

Very nice hostel: good location, very large bathrooms, nice staffs, full-range of breakfasts. A bit pricey and small room for 2-bed private but overall I'm very satisfied.

My stay at this hostel was fantastic! The hostel was is a great place by the river and was the epicenter of clean. The staff went out of their way to take care of me me. Best hostel ever :)

This was the best hostel we stayed at in our entire 2 month trip. Clean with an amazing kitchen and dining area with nice outdoor patio. The staff was super helpful and there are adequate number of showers facilities. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Cardiff.

It was a great hostel but defiantly catered to an older audience. It was hard to meet people and due to the fact that people were on their computers there were times where it felt like sitting in a library. The facilities and location were excellent though.

The best hostel I have ever stayed at! Such a warm feeling to the hostel and the facilities were beautiful!
