Property Information:
Our fully solar powered hostel offers dorms and private rooms with shared bathroom.
We have a restaurant with family-style home cooked dinners, always with a vegetarian option and always at backpacker prices.
Our bar offers icy cold beers, wine, liquors and soft drinks.
We have a great book exchange and enough places to read or just relax.
We offer hiking tours, kayak, boat trips and games and every sunday we play water volley.
Our hammock house will give you the chance to swim right off the dock or just watch the river go by.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you reserve or plan your transport in time.
Public boats don't always leave in the late afternoon and we arrange transport only until 5.00pm.
Call or mail us ahead of time so that we can arrange your transport up or down the river.
Also, because of our location and the small size of our hostel, we need to know in time (before mid-day) if you will have dinner with us and if you are vegetarian, have allergies or just don't like certain things.

I had a wonderful time at The Roundhouse. It's a great place to chill out for a few days and escape from it all. I felt so comfortable and relaxed the entire time, and I'm already planning a trip back there. Food and drinks were great as well as the owners Dani and Chris.
