Stay was ok, location really good, literally a minute from queensway tube. I stopped in a shared room which happened to be on the 4th Where the lift was out of order! The breakfast was very basic

It's alright for an emergency one night stop over. The clientele are a mix between groups, weirdos and one or two genuine people in between. Not recommended if you're travelling. Few homeless people living there.

It was mentioned that hostel has linen, lockers and luggage storage. But it was not mentioned that we have to pay for all of that. If you want to use lockers in your own room you have to pay 2 pounds per day for the key of the locker. That's madness! The breakfast was not good, either. Just tea, coffee, milk with corns, toast, butter and jam from a plastic bottle that is probably was being used from the day the hostel was built. I would say the hostel is not value for money.

Facilities & cleanliness levels could be acceptable since the very convenient price matched with a good location. The main problem I had to live with was the CLIENTELE: mainly over 50s men, roaming around the room at any time, talking about how to get benefits from the government, sleeping at 6pm over their food in the dining room. That's a sure way to freak out any normal guest who's there to enjoy the city. Plus their hobby was to terrify people concerning laptops&phones recently stolen, etc..

As a single female travelling alone, I felt very unsafe and intimidated on this hostel.

Dont book this Hostel!!! Its not worth the money, even its cheap. The "breakfast" is toast with instant coffee. Rooms tiny and dirty. Showers too small and the water doesnt drain off. Due to the disgusting beds, i have a RASH (bedbugs?!) You have to pay for everything extra (e.g.wifi) THEY KEPT MY key- DEPOSIT AND ALLEGED THAT IVE GOT IT ALLREADY! So dont go to this hostel. 7ram 3lik

perfectly situated to see London with tube and bus on the doorstep.Great value for money with all the necessary facilities. My only criticism would be unless your from a hot climate the rooms are like sleeping in the centre of a bakers oven at 200 degrees...

This isn't a hotel - it is a hostel. With this kept in mind it is absolutely fabulous value for money. You receive breakfast as well and the location is fabulous - 30second walk to the nearest tube. It was in fact really good for the money and I would recommend it to anybody wanting a cheap bed for the night in London

As I said the locatipn is very good, the poorest is the staff. The man at the reception desk in the afternoon shouldn't be there, he can offer any good service, in fact, he was quite roude, it is a pity to have this kind of person dealing with costumers. A young woman who was working there in the morning was totally different. Also the whole buiding should be cleaned

The hostel was alright, no WiFi though which sucks for travellers. Breakfast included but only until 9. The people here were fantastic, the let downs were mainly the staff( when I was checking in, the rest were okay), and the fact that when I checked in at 3 the room hadn't been cleaned yet

I actually quite like this hostel. For Twelve pounds a night, you can't beat it. The location is amazing, with buses and the Tube at your door. Breakfast is included which makes a big difference! And even though the rooms are old, its fine and the sheets are super clean so nothing do worry about.

At my first stay I had thought I would be definitely coming back to this place, but the next stay - it turned out to be a nightmare. Everything is fine with the hostel, however the people who stay there are quite freaky members of society, who cannot afford anything else and do not know how to behave. Of course it depends on your luck, but I would not like to risk staying there again. It also seems to be cheap, but you could book sth at the same price and you'll get the wifi included.

Whilst the bed was relatively cheap the Royal Bayswater charge about £2 or more for almost everything else including the basic things like a locker. Amazingly though, breakfast IS included and its ok. The location is good so there are places close to the hostel where you can get free wifi (that works), supermarkets, Hyde park and the tube stations are all right there.

It's a pity you don't have a free wifi.

It is in a good location, just in front of a bus station and beside the tube, nevertheless, it is not very secure, since you can freely walk in to the rooms lift and e.g.: in my room, happened a theft and when I changed rooms a girl let her boyfriend in and it was impossible to sleep at night. The bathrooms were a mess. And the breakfast is far from being able to be called as a meal. The good point is that the staff is great!
