We enjoyed the character of this guesthouse, felt like the outdoors was indoor. The people of friendly enough and know enough English to exchange words. The rooms are a bit dim, but thats the way the rooms are decorated. There is laundry service on site and computers for use for a little fee. The rooms have wifi. Overall-good quality for the value.

the state and cleanliness of the room we were given had nothing in common with the pictures advertised on the website. Cracked walls, stained bed throw, no linen, vintaged A/C unit 20+ years & bathroom same, overwhelming stench of mould. A replacement room was provided only to reveal the same conditions. In the end we were refunded and got a room elsewhere. Only suitable for backpacker in transit and high on dope where visions of pink elephants renders them oblivious to surrounding conditions.

The place is nice enough. My room had AC and the pool is nice. There is a sign in the room that says security boxes (lockers)are free at the front desk, but then they tried charging us 220 baht. The food in the restaurant is decent, but expensive compared to outside options. Not a real great place to meet people if traveling alone. This place seems to attract people already in groups. Make sure you wear bug spray to bed!!! You get eaten alive! The location is good though, right off the main road

Dirty pool, rooms shoud be repainted. Hostel is quite big, which makes it a bit unpersonal.

Once again the staff treated me like gold. Not a five-star hotel, but great quality for the price.

Good location between old town and the night market. Within walking distance from both. Some noise from a nearby bar. The restaurant was too expensive compared to nearby restaurants. The reception staff was very helpful, especially one of the reception girls spoke good english.

Okay for what it is, Pool looked a bit gross, but we did see people use it. Can find cleaner and cheaper easily in Chang Mai.

The guesthouse itself had a lovely atmosphere and comfortable rooms for a decent price. Security was fantastic and you could store your valuables in lockers with easy access to the store room key between certain times . It would have been nice if the staff were a bit more friendly. I asked about elephant treking tours and I felt the lady on reception thought it was more of a chore to help me find something decent.. I also felt that some parts of the common area were neglected.

There are so many guest houses in Chiang Mai. This isn't the cheapest but has lots of character and is a short walk to the old city. Great guest house if you're looking to reserve a place online for a night before exploring your options sans backpack. There's a nice, big bathroom downstairs if you're not comfortable pooping in the same room as your significant other. Pool is shaded.

The guesthouse was ok. The free WIFI and the ability to lock away your valuables is welcomed. The staff at reception should be replaced as they are more interested in their computers than the customer.

This hotel is tired. The staff are tired, the rooms are tired. To it's credit, it is pretty good value, but we moved to a nicer place after 2 days.

The hostel is in a great location and the staff are excellent. ou can book tours and trips from the hostel which is a plus. The bar and restaurant are good. The room was ok, the bathroom was not very clean and the spacious hallways make the rooms a bit noisy when people pass by. However, we still slept well and I would probably go back there.

It was a nice place, but I think one could find better in Chiang Mai. The security is a little lacking, as one can easily access the locker room where people leave their bags during the day before they depart. All you have to do is simply take the key, which is publicly visible and accesible from the front desk counter, and open up the storage room. As for location, close to some great places, but a little far from the night bazaar. As for staff, rarely helpul or positive.

Stayed here at the start of January and thought the place was good value for money. Rooms are relatively basic but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were made up daily. The bathroom had a slightly musty smell to it but we just made sure we kept the bathroom door shut to the main room. Quite a central location but maybe a bit to close to Loi Khor Rd (we called it lady boy lane) which had a bit of a seedy side to it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We couldnt access wifi from our room which was pretty run down. However, the hostel was located right in the centre and was close to markets and food.

For the price, the location is excellent. Easily within walking distance to the night bazaar or the eastern side of the old town. Staff could have been more helpful.
