The most beautiful Hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff and owner are wonderful, the food is comforting and hearty, the views are breath taking. There is no wifi which forces people to return to reality and spend quality time with one another! My favorite part of Ecuador this far! Also, do the Pasochoa trek :)

The roof top bar and the ability to meet people are the prime attractions. The building is run down and the tours on offer are wildly overpriced

Great hostel, location and walking tour! I booked 2 nights and ended up staying 8. There are so many day trips you can do and the atmosphere at the hostel is awesome. Cheap food at te hostel, next door and across te street. I just loved it!

The Secret Garden is a great, friendly and atmospheric hostel, very close to Quito's historic town centre. The room as are comfortable, the staff are lovely and the roof terrace is spectacular and a great way of first meeting the city over breakfast. I am going back to stay there again.

Really an all around great hostel. There's a bar upstairs, but if you want some peace and quiet, it's readily available too. Very clean hostel, plenty of safes and lockboxes, great staff. The water and wifi have some inconsistencies, but it's certainly not a deal breaker.

Some showers are only cold water, but otherwise this place was exactly as advertised. They were knowledgeable, cheerful and helpful. We met lots of interesting people. Definitely recommended.

The rooftop terrace here is amazing! Super nice view over the city and a nice place to socialize. Too bad it is completely closed at 23:00. Seems like people are going out pretty much every night. Beds are OK. It is a bit weird that you have to take 5 stairs in order to reach the reception. Overall a nice hostel. The rooftop terrace makes this a go to place, the rest of the hostel isn't any better than other hostels you can find in Quito.

Great hostel to meet people. The rooftop bar/dining area is a great place with communal dinners to sit down, discuss travel plans and make new friends. The view of Quito is also pretty amazing. The hostel has a travel agency in the building so everything can be organised for you. Staff are super helpful and friendly and will organise nights out. Highly recommend this hostel!

Awesome hostel. One of best in Quito. Atmosphere is great. Especially at dinner and happy hour 2x1. Staff are helpful and the location is pretty good. Meals are good although slightly overpriced for the quantity I thought. Dorms are good. Rooftop view is amazing
