I arrived at the very late night, there wasn't any remarkable sign that represents the location of hostel in front of that building. The main door from the street was locked but there wasn't any buzzer for the first visitors. Instead, there was a printed indication that i can call the reception at any time, bt how many bagpackers can call them if they don't have phone(sim card) aborad? Nd staffs didn't tell me the location of toillet, shower and other facillities. Also, there was no city maps.

The building is too old, that is not art, that is just an old building...

Very good location, in a main street. Staff very helpful and kind. The worst: not very clean.

The bed are very good to sleep but the shower was really dirty and broken and the toilet too! The staff was nice. Only one old computer to see internet, good location.

There's no possibility of payment by credit card and receiving a receipt. There's also not enough number of showers (only 3 showers, one of them located in a pub). One man from the staff is all the time observing so we sometimes feel like every our move is recorded. Girl on the reception was really nice and helpful.

I've passed through Tallinn quite a few times and always love staying at this hostel. The staff are very friendly and know so much about the city. The hostel has great facilities and is close to everything; I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Great hostel 2 minutes walk from the main square. Staff were very friendly and eager to help with sightseeing guides or the best places to go out in the evening. Hostel was pretty clean in the bathrooms and toilets but they could probably do with an update. Fellow travellers were all friendly. If i found myself in Tallinn again i would definitely go back to this Hostel.

I had a great time here as a solo female traveler not once did i feel alone. Its a very social hostel in the heart of Tallinn. Its not a hotel so don't expect the same facilities. Its a little rough around the edges but i would sure return with no doubts at all. Its the only way to spend your time in Tallinn.

I spent just one night here, but ill be back!!! The girls are great, and the off the beaten track tour is a must. The hostel is situated in the old town so everything you need is on your door step.... check out the bar downstairs!!! Perfect stay thanks guys.

Very cheap hostel, but great location and nice staff. Facilities were a bit run down, however it was overall a pleasant stay.

From the moment we arrived at the Dancing Eesti we were made to feel welcome, the staff were amazing! We partied with them every night constantly and they couldn't have been more fun, helpful or friendly! They showed us Tallinn, they showed us everything and they got it spot on. We genuinely enjoyed our trip and would not have changed a thing. The location was great, the staff were great as was the hostel itself (clean, comfortable and places to chill).

Very nice staff who welcomed us even if we woke them up really early without notice... Cheap, perfectly located, the only problem that could bother some people is the noise because it's close to party places, but i guess that's one of Tallinn's charm.

The hostel is very typical Tallinn old town hostel - loads of nice backpackers in a more or less old house, little rooms, comfortable beds and an overall clean hostel. However, we couldn't sleep at all as there were a lot of parties going on in rooms next to us, above us and apparently there is a club in the backyard. So if you're looking for a great night meeting people from all over the world, drinking and partying this is the right place. If you rather want to sleep stay somewhere else!!!

We stayed at the sleeping Maris for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The girls were really nice and helpful, made us feel at home. The beds in the dorm were really comfortable. The only negative was you could do with an extra toilet upstairs as often there were queues.
