Pros: the owner is a lovely lady, peaceful location a pleasant 20min walk away from town centre, hill side views, big airy room, wifi was good, Lucky the dog is friendly. :) Also got invited to a May day party at the guesthouse which was great fun!! All in all, we had a nice stay! Cons: towels left us fluffy and not so dry after using them. There was a huge thunderstorm during which the roof leaked a bit. There were plenty of mosquitoes in the building.

The location of The Sleepy Teepee was just what we wanted - away from the busyness of Yangshuo town to feel like you're in the countryside, but close enough to get to by bike (10 mins). The deluxe room was amazing - really spacious, comfortable bed, with a cute little nook to sit in and gaze over the glorious mountainous views as well as a little kitchenette and nice modern bathroom. The communal areas have great views and I imagine it would be great to visit here in the summer months.

Loved the location, far enough from the town center so you can relax but close enough if you want to venture in and check out the goings on. The views are stunning, as it's right on top of a big hill. I did miss the turn, which is a hill up to the hotel, but managed to see the big teepee from the road. Great spot.
