The location is great. The staff was really friendly. I just loved the pub that the hostel\'s got downstairs. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that there were only two bathrooms per floor. But the rest was ok. I would definitly recommend this hostel.

Too many beds in the 12 bedroom, for its size. The bottom bunks are hardly bigger than a suitcase. There was also a roach in the bathroom.

The day after I checked in they put up a sign on my door saying to empty out the room by 10am, didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t see it until I woke up at 9:30am so I was dissapointed that they didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t just put me in another room since they knew the changes were going to be happening. Couldn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t get back into my room until after 5, and the woman working there gave me the stink eye because I was in the room at 10:05. Also asked for half a pint an

The hostel is well located, maybe not too large, where rooms are quite small, and there isn't enough space. But in general the hostel is clean, with a nice atmosphere in the pub, good staff and all that you need to take a nice visit to London.

Staff gave me the wrong bed at first, and wrote both of the codes down wrong, but were happy to quickly sort it out, and were always friendly. It was a nice place, very busy but did exactly what I needed for a brief overnight stay. Thank you.

Great place to stay, really friendly staff. They're professional, fun, friendly and kind people. The 24 hour bar for guests is quite a luxury. However, the lack of kitchen or common room outside of the bar is the only thing that isn't awesome. But, there's cheap (and good) pizza for sale, and plenty of places to get food nearby. I'd really recommend the steam engine overall. There's a great mix of guests too, I arrived alone and stayed and partied with everyone.

Bathrooms too small to get into and out of with bags. Guy cutting tile late into the night (we understand that he needed to cut the tile in order to finish the job.) Very comfortable and affordable. Thank you

Not much other than a place to sleep at night -- no bag storage in the rooms, just small safes (you need your own lock), and only two toilets and showers for what seemed to be about 40 people. Triple bunks so rooms were crowded. Quite close to tube stop though, and inexpensive, so not bad value for what you pay. If you're traveling alone, just an FYI, you enter through a bar that has some sketchy clientele.

Decent location, rooms too small, not enough bathrooms, floors get wet so bring sandals, cleanliness is good for what they can manage, gets humid in the room, basic breakfast bit too early in the morning but does the job if you're broke, pub is funny, they do not have a computer for guests.

The site location and the staff is the only positive of this site. For quality and services we offer is a steep price to pay. It's not very healthy to put 12 people in a tiny room (14 m2) in bunk 3 you can not even touch the ground without touching any property of the people. Only has 2 bathrooms too small for 40 people and two showers. Moreover, the bar that sits below the rooms have the loud music late into the night. The lockers for belongings were ridiculous. No kitchen and poor breakfast.

The thing I liked the most was the great atmosphere in the hostel. The bar was very cozy and it was very fun at night.with his karaoke!! :-) The staff were very friendly, especially the spanish waiter who was working at night was really kind, I had a problem with my computer and he fixed it in one moment :-) The bedrooms were a litlle bit small, but they were nice. The toilets were the only thing I would improve, they were not clean enough in mu opinion

Not a bad place to stay. For me, all I care about is a safe place to sleep at night and a decent shower, so this place fits the bill perfectly. It's got a great location right by the London Eye and Westminster Bridge (and the free Imperial War Museum). Just be sure to bring your own towel, as they charge for them (but then again, you should always bring your own towel when traveling by hostel).

The staff here was great, super friendly and helpful. It's nice that the hostel is also a pub where you can grab a pint for a reasonable price and they also serve pizza very late. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the toilets and showers. It seemed that no one checked to make sure there was enough toilet paper or paper towels. Also, one day they decided to repaint parts of the bathroom but DID NOT put any warning signs that there was wet paint so I got paint on my clothes.
