The only positive thing is the location of this hostel. The staff is absolutely overextended. When we arrived the staff told us that there is already another couple in our double room because something went wrong, so we got a dormroom. When we got our double room, there still were the old, used blankets in the beds. The hostel itsself is a bit dirty, only one of the kitchens is newer and usable. There are two men and two female toilets for the whole hostel and one of the door locks was broken..

As we booked two beds in a 3-bed-dorm and got two beds in separate rooms which were 4-bed-dorms, we were disappointed from the very beginning. Seeing the rooms they were very smelly and untidy, in one of the rooms there were only 3 lockers instead of 4. All lockers in our rooms couldn't be closed properly, so there was no way to secure our valuables. The bathrooms were dirty as well, there was only one male and one female bathroom per floor and in the male's room the door couldn't be locked.

having to leave your I.D for decent kitchenware is a hassle especially if you only have 1 form of I.D. but there are bits an pieces left around the kitchen from previous backpackers. then kitchen ranges between dirty and decent guess it just depend who was cleaning that day. kitchen closes at midnight so no access to food unless you got a stash in the rooms locker secure lockers in rooms. clean beds and linen, great location. free wifi ,goods staff.

Quite messy and not very well kept. My room was so full of peoples' clothes you couldn't see the floor! There was a locker thrown on the floor and the room smelt like s**t.

The toilet door lock and the seat were broken, apart from that it was good, what you would expect for a hostel. Convenient location and very helpful staff!

Overall a good hostel. Not too noisy but still lively enough, could do with kitchens being done up not a lot of facilities to cook. Rooftop is amazing on a sunny day to chill out on.

This "HOTEL" is the worst one in the whole world, is extremely dirty and there is no one in charge to clean nothing. Oh my God, being there was a real NIGHTMARE. Authorities should close that place.

This was the cheapest place we could find over xmas and new years so we werent expecting much. Bar staff downstairs were very friendly and theres free wi-fi as well. Showers were decent and the rooms were quite clean.

We told them that we would arrive late, but nobody was at reception when we came. They didn't take our call and so we had to sleep on the floor. no lounge, small and run-down kitchen with only two chairs and no toaster, kitchen equipment must be hired, the bathrooms were good there was a bad smell

I was ready to be positive about the hostel, and I really tried. I think a 10 dollar deposit to get a set of cutlery is ok, but that you have to leave your passport to get a pot or a sharp knife? And that they had the checkout time at the same time as the reception opened? Stupid. The worst part though was how many of the staff that were REALLY unfriendly, actually rude and incompetent. I would not stay there again, but it was cheap for being Sydney, so what to expect?

Extremely dirty. The kitchen was disgusting. Stayed in 2 different rooms here both with horrible smells when you walked in. Staff not helpful at all. Wouldn't waste my money on this dump again.
