u get what u pay for with this place. all single bungalows so its your own space which is alwasy nice however they range in price from very basic to a double bed with aircon, ( which is an absolute must!! ). good location right in the middle of lonely beach resort however not for anyone who wants an early night as its realy close to the main bars which plays music untill 2-3am. movies everynight at 7pm was a nice touch.

Good location on the island. Nice infrastucture. Staff is not outstanding. We asked for a moskito net twice and got nothing.

Cheap...but...room was below average: no running water in the sink, no hot water for shower, ants all over the bathroom, no garbage anywhere in room. When we ordered food in the restaurant we waited 2 hours for food while watching others who came after us get their food first. Staff was unorganized, not knowing who ordered what food. When we went to complain the receptionist made us feel like jerks for wanting our food instead of apologizing and doing something to fix it.

Well ..... if you need hot water for the shower than you should reserve a room accordingly and not book one which does not offer hot water. "No garbage anywhere in room" .... I guess that's a good thing. Garbage bins are located on the balcony outside which makes it easier to collect the garbage. Personally I admire people who wait 2 hours for their food, however, after 30 min I would go check if everything is alright. I am pretty sure that my receptionist did not intend to make you feel like jerks.

They had no room for me there. Seems like the Sunflower itself has no Internet connection. So they didn't really know about my reservation. So they brang me to another hotel with bungalows. It was more expensive but directly on the beach. They said I should come back a day later, then they will have a room for me. Of course I didn't do that! I just saw the bungalows from outside. They looked about average. In general the prices in Lonely Beach are not so cheap for what you get.

I like the fact that Sun flower is 5 min walk from the beach. However, if you want to go to bed at midnight, don't even think about staying here because it is surrounded by all the bars and clubs with VERY LOUD music. The staff is pretty helpful and friendly. They show different movies every night at 7p.m which is a good thing. If you book a room here, make sure they check water pressure/hot water, provide toilet paper, clean the room, change towel. They won't do it unless you ask.

Cute, basic but clean bungalows but not so close to the beach. Wouldn't reccommend if you like your sleep because the parties at lonely beach get loud and the noise travels. Still, very good value for money and we enjoyed our stay

I had a cabana with fan, private bath and cold shower for 400Baht which is pretty okay. The downturn: some one broke my lock on the door so that I didn't feel very save afterwards. Cleaning is not every day and you have to bring your own toilet paper.

The staff were excellent in this resort and the bungalow I had was very simple. Maybe a little bit too small, and there is a minor ant problem in the toilet but this place was still one of the best hostels I've ever been in.

We slept in a bungalow with air-con, the rooms were clean and reasonably sized. Everything is within walking distance, the beach is pretty near. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If we came back, we would definitely stay there again.
