In a great location near fantastic local eateries and the main bus station in the area. Terry was a great surf instructor and the staff were extremely hospitable.

It wasn't their fault they had no other and guests but me, and out of town company kept them away most of the time. So there was no one around fo ask question for 2 days I was there. But the refrigerator light for a room light was not acceptable and the room was boiling hot with only 1 sorry fan. Although the owner was polite and appeared to be a nice person,the reason for a tiny room light given me was, most people don't want a bright light when they SLEEP! And flashlight outside door.

The lady of the hostel was very friendly and kind, she advised many things so that you can move around the town easily. Though it's a little bit far away the beach, night market but you can just take bus from bus station near the hostel (it's hard to find the mark of "Bus station", you should ask hostel's lady).

This hostel was clean and easy to use as a foreigner. The bar and restaurant (although we didn't eat there) seemed convenient and comforting for those craving Western food. However, its location in Kenting wasn't the best in comparison with so many other hostels that are right on or within walking distance of the beach.

If you are coming here for surfing, then this is definitely the location to come to as it is so central and Terry has all the gear for rent. Terry, Ee and her mum were so helpful with food, accommodation and places to visit and the venue and service was well worth the money. I even got a trip to Taidong with them which I was so grateful for as I wanted to see that part of Taiwan too. Thank you so much for a wonderful, pleasant stay.
