Ridiculously far from centre and was difficult to find (tip: Dont bother with a map from the station because the map covers where it is with useless info which made finding it impossible) the bed did not seem clean at all, i doubt the bed sheets were ever changed and the blankets werent too convincing either but at least you could get more on request. Other than this, the atmosphere was brill really chill place, playing ping pong outdoors whilst strangers attempted to play piano was fab
Great setup No shop or real food to buy and eat. Team system is easy Blankets provided Good sleeping arrangements and showers

Very cheap alternative, a bit outside the city but with tram 17 you're in the heart of munich in 15 minutes. There was a great atmosphere, with a camp fire and good cheap breakfast and dinner. I would definitely stay here again. Also they have lockers and you can charge your phones and stuff at the receptions so that's safe. The toilets and showers are cleaned every day and check out is untill twelve, though they do put music on at 10 to wake everyone up for breakfast.
Just stayed 1 night but I would like to spend there weeks! Awesome atmosphere, awesome staff! %100 Recommend.

Best hostel I have stayed in a long time.
As long as you know what you're getting yourself into before coming, this is an awesome hostel! Just know that you are sharing a "tent" with essentially 99 other people. It was cold in the tent but they provide lots of blankets so no issue there. No pillows but you can ball up a sweater and you're good to go. Atmosphere was lots of fun - beach volleyball, campfire at night, pingpong, cheap beer. Overall great place! Would stay again if I go back to Munich :)
I was really not expecting to love this so much. So much better than any camping hostels I've ever done. It's like summer camp for adults. The camp is breathtakingly gorgeous, there's beer and homemade food, campfires, piano bar, hammocks, beanbags, benches, and sweet little porches. Lockers in the tents and you can leave your stuff at reception to charge and they'll watch it. We did have trouble with the wifi, but we didn't even care. I want to go to Munich again just to go to the tent again.
awesome idea for a hostel, but i found the staff to be pretty bad at helping out and even having to wait a long time for them to finish having a chat with another staff member before serving you.
One of the most fun hostels that I have stayed at! A little outside the city, but worth spending a night at
Really interesting experience! Was so cosy in the tent with everyone! And remarkably comfortable. I did need to snuggle with someone for heat tho but it was cold in the nights but that's to be expected in a tent! The facilities were great, clean toilets and showers and guest kitchen. Food always on offer at the bar too. Campfire always a winner. So glad we chose the tent!
The Tent is a very nice place, with a lot of green around, very relaxing, with a very friendly staff. It is very well organized, bathrooms perfect, etc. It is an excellent option if you don't mind beeing a little bit off-centered (but still quite well connected,15 min tram to the center, 24/7). My only regrets, the wifi did not work very well, it took time before I could connect (then it worked well), and I would have liked beeing given a bedsheet in addition to the blankets.
Really nice place ! Would go back there. It's kind of cold during the night, but you can go ask for more blankets. However, everyone can enter the camp site ... We had a russian guy probably drunk or having a mental breakdown in the tent at 4 am. It took quite long until someone from the staff came to help because we was going crazy. Overall a great experience and the food they sell is really cheap !
Very good atmosphere. The only thing that was a little bad is too small lockers, and bad wifi. Which to be honest is´nt bad at all. You get this festival feeling, and the atmosphere is very social/festival like. Also, the food they serve is cheap, and delicious. If you want a good nights sleep however, this is not the place for you. It´s more of a youth social setting where you can meet lots of people.
Sick camping site! Ping pong tables, Football table and fun stuff to do!! Huge tent with 100 peeps was impressive and really cool! They make BBQs at some point, Huge fire every night so peeps get to drink and have some fun! Only sad part is the location, pretty far from city center!
Fantastic atmosphere! There's a campfire every night allowing for you to meet people from all over and the beer is fairly cheap. It's a bit far from the city centre but, the 17 tram runs all the time and turns into the night tram N16 allowing for easy access. Slept surprisingly well for a tent with 100 people in it however, it can be quite cold.
I got lost in the city and didn't check out till 7 HOURS AFTER CHECK OUT TIME and they just said it was okay and didn't charge me or anything. Great atmosphere , met so many people. Cheap beer, cheap food. I recommend although the place is a bit like camp and over whelming. Not for everyone. Still had fun. Worth it for 12€
Loved the place! It just got a bit cold at night and wifi is not the best. Wonderful atmosphere though!

I strongly recommend this place, such good vibes everywhere. Just know what you are signing up for, it's a tent, it can get cold, it's a 100 bed dorm. Sleeping bag and a pillow case are perfect to have with you here.
Facilities are nice and clean. Tent smells (from all the people and the blankets), but is reasonable clean. If it is cold outside it is cold, so bring suitable clothing and I would recomen a sleepingbag. Otherwise the campsite is nice and located close to tram.
I Would give this place 1000% atmosphere. Ive been traveling for a couple of months in Europe and i haven't come across a hostel with an atmosphere as awesome as this one. I had the best time in Munich all because of this hostel. My only issue was that the don't take cards. So far its my favorite hostel!
