This place had a great atmosphere, with a bar, a cafeteria which served breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a bonfire at night. The tent was basic but included blankets and lockers. The bathrooms were really clean. Wish I had stayed there longer.

Great value for money, really friendly and useful staff! The free city tour on Wednesday was much appreciated! Will definitely recommend! May be back next year for Oktoberfest?!

Not worth the money, too far from the city. Absolutely terrible management. Was told that I did not stay here with two friends 2 months after the fact and charged. service. Staff was nice, tent was very cold and showers were warm.

Really awesome stay. The 100 bed tent had a lot of room in it, so you didn't feel cramped. They provide lockers to keep your stuff safe and the kitchen/cafe that they have, serve pretty cheap meals. Would definitely go back.

We had a fabulous stay, met some amazing poeple and the atmosphere of the TENT only added to our experience. Excellent value for money! Tram use was simple and made life very easy. We have spoken very highly of The Tent and will encourage all travellers to try to make it out there!

Atmosphere was realy nice at night there's a bonfire so you could sit around and chill, only thing is they shut you off at like 1am, so its or out to city or in bed. The tent is like 15 min away from centre by tram. sleeping in the 100 ppl tent was ok each had his oun locker and could get as many blackets you wish. it gets pretty cold at morning. breakfast is cheap you pay per item, and options are prrety good. good value for money, on the whole if your not to fussy its a great place.

The hostel is very basic, but still okay. The atmosphere is great, I was surprised about the showers. They've done very well. Enough space, even if there are 100 persons in one room. Still you have to remember the price, so value for money in a town like Munich it's recommendable.

The wi-fi was a bit weak. Perhaps putting up some signs for hot spots would help with that.

Even though its far out, it is easy to use the tram to get into town. The 100 bed tent wasn't not bad at all, especially when you have earplugs, although the 1am quiet hour is pretty late. Great place to meet all sorts of great people. I appreciated the clean facilities and the multitude of hangout places. Good internet. It would have been nice if locks for the lockers were included. Staff was helpful and nice. A larger indoor common area would be nice, or more couches.

Brilliant atmosphere, good food, and great value for money. The staff were excellent, even wheeled my friend to the hospital in a wheelbarrow when she injured her leg (Thank you so much).

At first thought, you seem kind of sketchy about staying in a giant tent but it was pretty cool. People were quite while inside the tent, so if you wanted to take a mid time nap it is possible. The only thing I thought was pretty lame is they have a curfew around 1 or 2 I cant remember but everyone has to sleep or go somewhere else. The beds were pretty comfortable and if you were cold the staff had no problem giving you extra blankets.

More like a refugee camp than a hostel. Dont stay here if your over 25. Don't stay here if you want something clean or at least slightly private and don't stay here if you can afford to stay elsewhere.

The tent is awesome if you don't mind the freezing cold. Just ask for 4-5 blankets and stay near the campfire at night.... The staff is the best. They are a friendly and helping people. The food is great. They also have a piano... Easy to arrive just with the tram.

We went in thinking it'd be just a cheap night, but poor experience. Boy, were we wrong! It's great, the atmosphere is fantastic, it's very clean, and with some earplugs it's a fantastic sleep. We'd definitely stay here again, and we'd recommend it to anyone.

a bit far away from the centre of town. but the tent is awsome! wifi is poor though. nice fire in the night that keep you warm while chatting with friends. you can play guitar next to the fire. staff is super helpful. will stay again!

Great place - really wish I'd stayed longer. Great for group travel. The one downside is that it's a little way out of town (although it's easy to get to the Nymphenburg Chateau), and public transport in Munich is expensive - buy a day ticket if you can - you'll be saving euros from your second trip!

I think I will never beat this record of sleeping in a 100 persons dorm. Everything is very well organised and for this amount of money it is a perfect stay.

I had the most amazing stay, the staff were so helpful and friendly. I loved the atmosphere and will definitely stay here next time I travel to Munich. I would recommend this hostel to everybody! Thanks so much :)
