Great value, staff were friendly and the fire at night helped keep the chill away. Also great that printing from the computer was free.

Great experience- very fun! Only big problem- far from central Munich- you must ride the tram for around 25 minutes... Staff provide you with blankets (as many as you need- it gets freezing in the colder months) and happily charge all your electronics at reception (there are no power-points in the "room"). Free wifi but computers cost... Big camp fire at night. You are bound to meet interesting and quirky characters here! Bring your own PADLOCK for the lockers- or buy one from staff (cheap).

The Tent was brilliant. Steak on the bbq, campfires and wine, ask for extra blankets at night as it gets pretty chilly

PROS: Good fun, friendly and helpful staff, and great food available at breakfast and dinner. Something different than your average hostel. Great price! CONS: SECURITY!!! Very difficult to secure a tent, sadly. Fortunately they do have lockers for valuables, so make sure you have a decent padlock! OVERALL: A good place to stay if you're on a budget. If you don't mind sacrificing a few creature comforts you'll have a lot of fun here. Just don't forget your padlock.

Some of the staff was not so friendly, especially when I needed a bigger locker. If you have a huge suitcase, do not go to this place. They had no big lockers for my bag and they were unwilling to put it behind the counter. I was very disappointed about this but other than that it was ok.

we really liked it. Its as good as other hostels but way cheaper. You have to be prepared though. It can get very cold at night even if they give you a lot of blankets. The showers dont lock but the water is hot. There are ping pong tables and a bonfire where you can meet a lot of people. The food and the beer is really cheap. They ask u to be quiet after 1 am but they stop selling beer at 11pm. 15 min tramway to the main train station. They prefer if u book on their own website

It is a bit far out (distance wise) but its just a straight run on the tram. Im pretty sure a homeless guy was sleeping beside us for a few nights. Apart from that the showers are clean and powerful even if they only come on for short bursts, the night life is buzzing with randomers talking to one another, and the beds arent too shabby for the price you pay.

Really great, fun, cheap place to stay. Bring a padlock for the lockers though (as they do not provide them). Certainly recommend here.
