At first a reception man was very cold to answer our questions and had no smile which made me really unsatisfied. When we came back it changed another man and it got better.I have to say that if people who do reception was unqualified, guests will definitely get a bad impression of the hotel. The other parts were quite good and worth it.

No cold water in the sink. No heat in the bedroom; although they did fix it after 3 trips to the room by bringing in a portable heater. The room over looked a hooker stroll, maybe a bonus for some but not so much for us.

The building we stayed in wasn't as aesthetically leasing as the main one. However once in our room, the facilities were excellent and we enjoyed our immensely. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hopefully we will return to Brussels and hope to stay at this hotel again. The location is fantastic, 10 minute walk into the city centre and many underground stations nearby. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Obviously, as a hotel, it has not that "youth hostel feeling". If you are just looking for a cheap place to sleep with your couple in a private room with bathroom, in the center of the city, i think it can be an option for you. Bad things? The heating wasn't working in the bathroom and it was cold. It would be nice that they pay a little more attention to the maintenance of the building (re-painting, fix some furniture, etc) too. The boy in reception in the afternoon was really nice.

This is more of a hotel than a hostel. We only stayed for one night but I think there arent any kind of activities that you normally have in hostels or the atmosfere where you can meet people. The staff was realy nice and the hotel was just as in the pictures, super clean, beautiful and modern (it was better than some star hotels I stayed in). The only bad part is that the area around the hotel turns into a prostitution corner at night even though its right next to good stores and a theater.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Theater Hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the 24-hr reception since we got into town late.

I had a great stay. The staff was very accommodating and helped us find what we needed when we were going out, and let us store our luggage behind the front desk after we checked out. Just make sure if you call a cab from the front desk that you negotiate a price BEFORE you get in. Have the receptionist talk to them about a price for you if necessary....we ended up getting ripped off with a 20 euro cab and it was only a 5-10 minute ride.

The room we first had was fine for what we paid. However, the sheets were dirty and were still not changed after complaining to the front desk. When the power went out we were moved to different rooms which were very nice, but when we checked out the man at the reservation desk tried to charge us for the difference in prices which was somewhat frustrating but was just a misunderstanding. Besides that, our stay was okay. We loved one of the receptionists. He was very friendly and helpful!

We Really enjoyed our stay here. We feel we really got what we paid for and It was great that our rooms were turned down every day when we came back from our day out. Security of the Hostel was very good too with the buzz in door. and we really appreciated the clenliness of the hostel. I will definitly stay here the next time I go to Brussels.

This is a great hotel for the price. We paid 18 Euros each and basically got a 3 storey apartment! HOWEVER, the street outside is literally infested prostitutes. I do not put that lightly. At any one time there were at least 10 prostitutes lined up and down the street like scantily clad bowling pins. You could genuinely look out the window at 11pm and see men buying womens sexual services in exchange for money. It's hardly peeking out the curtains for a view of Central Park or the Thames...

horrible .The hotel is located in the red light district of brussels. all around the hotel there are a dozen of prostitutes and in the nights they are shouting at the streets. it is really not a place to stay. it is more a street to run away from. so i still dont now if that is a "normal" hotel or if the prostitutes are also using it?? and as if that is not enough, the stuff is really unfriendly and not helpfull at all. the high price for the hotel in a prostitution area is ridiculous

It's located in a bad neighborhood that is very difficult to locate, but the staff was very friendly and the room was great!
