The Thistle was absolutely charming with helpful staff, clean, bus close by, quiet, great breakfasts, secure. Everything you could want!

We stayed 1 night in a 4 bedroom for relatively low cost. It is a basic accommodation but good value for the money we spent. Quiet situated, clean, enough space (room and bath room), friendly owner. Unfortunately the central heating did not work properly, but staff provided an electric radiator.

It was very quiet but the rooms were lovely and clean and I have a comfortable nights sleep. Scottish breakfast in the morning is an extra £5 by the way and not free as I had somehow misunderstood based on the website....
