I was expecting a lot better from this place given its high reviews. However, our room, which was supposed to be an ensuite, actually had a bathroom across the hall albeit private. The room was very cramped though and I had to share a bed with another person instead of having four separate beds. It was also very loud, but I expected that given its location.

Location could not be better. It allows for total access to the great city of Dublin. Very helpful and warm staff and unrivaled free food. The hostel offers something fun -and free- every night from dinner to cheese to movies. Exceptional hostel.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful, we seemed to have endless questions or requests and they were always great about helping us out and setting things up for us. The location was excellent and close to everything, and the rooms were a good size and clean. The activities that they planned were a great way to meet the other people in the hostel.

I always stay at The Times when I'm in Dublin, and the only complaint that I have is that the room I stayed in this time (a 6 bed female dorm) did not have lockers or below-bed cages to secure belongings. I've never had a problem with security at The Times, but I would like to see lockers or cages in all the rooms. Other rooms in the hostel do have more security features.

Staff was very helpful in all areas from finding tours to fixing blown fuses. The only down side was the matress was so firm I awoke every monring with a terrible backache. It worked itself out over the day but still, it was not a pleasant way to start the day.

We really enjoyed our stay! We felt safe and the staff was wonderful! The hostel organized a free group dinner and pub crawl, which made it really easy to meet other travelers and make friends during our stay. Our room, linens and bathroom was clean and the shower always had hot water. The free internet and phone was great so we could stay in contact with our family. Wonderful location, in walking distance of all the sights and airport bus was just around the corner. Highly recommend The Times!

The Times Hostel was awesome!! My friend and I stayed there for a total of five nights (4 nights, then another Hostel, then the 5th night) while backpacking through Europe. The other Hostel we stayed at in Dublin didn't even come close to the Times. The staff is friendly and very laid back, there is never any worry about whether your belongings are safe, there is plenty of space in the rooms, and the common room is a great place to meet other travelers!!

Amazing hostel! The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The nightly pub crawls are awesome and The Times is located close to a lot of awesome stuff! I was exceptionally happy because they let me leave my huge suitcase there for two weeks while I was traveling the rest of Ireland, free of charge. Trust me people, this is the place to stay.

Amazing location, right in the city centre! Free activities every night (free dinner on wednesday, free welcome drink on friday, etc), that's nice. The walls aren't soundproof at all though, so prepare your earplugs. I was woke up at 0:30 by people running down the corridors and slamming doors =/

Fantastic location, very clean and helpful staff. I can definitely reccommend it. Only downside that it was extremely cold at night even with the great duvets.

Only complaint would be the very poor TV picture quality.
