Nice hotel, good price for the location in Nassau. The staff is welcoming and helpful, you can enjoy the breakfast in the terrace, and say hello to the parrot !

Staff was great and very helpful: the room was clean. Air conditioning a bit noisy but still easy to sleep through all the night. Very central location close to all major attractions in Nassau. Best Bahama Mama;)) Highly recommended!

In room 21 it was impossible to open the window and a bit of fresh air would have been welcome as the room was smelling musty!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Towne Hotel in Nassau. The staff was very friendly and helpful, having breakfast outside in the garden was heavenly for someone arriving from colder climate, and the room was clean and nice.

Overall I liked the hostel and it's location. My only beef is after I got home and started my expense report I see I was over charged. When I booked the Hostel HostelWorld.com I was charged $9.50. It said the amount due on check in was $67.50. The next day my credit card was charged $75.00(the full amount). Then when I checked in I was charged $10.50. So it looks like I was over charged ($9.50 + $10.50) = $20.00.

What a wonderful little place. Lovely friendly staff and even a pet Macaw at reception. Great location (central to town of Nassau) and good value for money.

It was quite cheap, and had a great atmosphere. The workers there were also fantastic, very knowledgable and ready to answer questions/make phone calls. You should realise that as this is he cheapest hotel, it is not the most luxurious. However, we actually expected lower quality. The common areas are beautiful. The rooms are basic, but perfectly functional. We were two friends travelling, and there were two double beds in the room. Functional shower/bathroom/TV/air con. Nice one

We enjoyed our stay at the Towne Hotel. We had the best room in the hotel - a junior suite on the top floor facing the street! It was charming. We were able to walk downtown, to the wharf (where our daughter was embarking for Semester at Sea), to the beach, and the Fish Fry.

Besides the exclusive hotels in downtown like Hilten, etc. the best and most affordable hotel in Nassau. The only really negative thing is the breakfast.

This is a hotel owned and run by Bahamians- a nice change from the resort atmosphere. The staff were generally helpful, and the food was freshly prepared by their cook and was delicious.

The Christmas decolation of the holl and livingroom were so nice. The breakfast was good. The only things I didn't like was a mosquito in my room. The location was awesome.
