A nice hostel for those who are tired of crowded and cramped city hostels. Small groups can find there own places to eat while lone travelers can find others in the main house. The staff/owners are well-seasoned travelers themselves who speak a multitude of languages and are very hospitable. On weekends events are sometimes planned in the salon which entails music and dancing. Cons: Pool out of order (at the time), no lockers, bus every 2 hours which takes 1 hour to town (bring a car) 20km.

It's an incredible venue in the farmland just outside of San Rafael. We were immediately greeted with beers and food when we arrived. An amazing storm did occur that night and we won't soon forget the good times had. HOWEVER, there were issues with our reservations due to overbooking. Do yourself and the owners, Stewart and Maria, a favor and call ahead of time so you can be sure of a room. . . although after this experience, I'm sure any future booking issues will be avoided. :)

A beautiful place in the country, great pool, calm environment. The cleanliness can improve and the staff was a little disorganized.
