I was there in low season, the vibe wasn't buzzing in terms of meeting new ppl and nightlife. Punta del Este is better to be visited in high season. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is good. I didn't really like my room, it was very narrow and dark. But it was clean at least.

Everyone was so nice and so friendly. Really good location, right next to the bus station and the beach!

We had very specific issues with the hostel and we ended up having to find a different place to stay after the first night. The staff was very open to our decision, and tried to help with everything they could.

Perfect location, just 2 blocks away from the beach and Los Dedos, and 10 min walk from the main discos. Very friendly staff, tumbs up for Marcelo and Vinicius, both very nice! Breakfast is average, but common, u r booking a hostel, not a 4* hotel! ;) The only thing I would def recommend is a locker. Although I felt very safe there, it's mandatory when it comes to security.

great social spot, the owners are super friendly and helpful. The place is amazing, highly picturesque and created having in mind common spaces. it's close to the bus terminal and the most popular beaches.

Cool place. Really good vibe. Perfect location within 5 mins of both river and ocean.

Pretty expensive for what you get. If you want to party this is the place to be but if you want to sleep anytime before 3am I wouldn't recommend. Great location near the bus and beaches and Staff was great. Beds weren't very comfortable though and for the price I prob wouldn't stay again.

The Trip Hostel was awesome. You could not beat the location to the beach, the bus station or the restaurants. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Punta Del Este. Good vibes all around and great to meet so many cool people from around the world. Thanks to Marcelo for hooking it up!

This hostel is one of the best I have ever stayed at! Such amazing staff, energy which attracts great people and creates an awesome environment. If you plan on traveling to punta this is the hostel to go to! Thank you Trip for an awesome experience.

This place is pretty rough. Pack everyone in to huge dorms that feel like a prison. Smelly, noisy, dark, the ceiling leaked when it rained in our room and they had to put a couple of buckets out. 2 showers for too many people. The staff were really unhelpful mostly and no one working the bar so was much quicker for me to actually go to the shop to buy any alcohol. Oh and the staff basically try and crack on with the all the girls. So if you like that, go here!

Es un exceleten hostel, muy bien ubicado y tiene además toda la onda. Muy bueno la gente que esta ahí trabajando, Marcelo que siempre te ayuda y te da ideas para hacer diferentes cosas. y todo perfecto en general.

The TRIP is awesome! Great staff, great BBQ, great parties! Book this hostel NOW! This is the place to party in Punta del Este! Much love and thank-you from Canada!

what a nice hostel. I'll come back here anytime :)

Great staff and great hostel!!! The breakfast was ok, but you could always talk to the staff about places to go or anything like that. The music in the hall was quite loud, but that didn't make a difference in the sound inside the room.

Nice atmosphere, staff are great and it's near everything. Besides the three bed tower I had to climb to sleep and the broken/occupied lockers (I didn't get one), the hostel is pretty cool and We even had a dinner for New Year's Eve. Thank you guys for everything, specially Marcelo! Peace out

Just lovely!! the best friendly people.. Ask for Marcelo and his good energy and don't forget to drink O'neills beer; homemade

Rooms looked like a "favela". Hostel should have been really strict about noisy guests!

Great hostel manager and staff. A couple of long-termers who are actually quite welcoming. The location of this hostel is fantastic, close to both the fingers beach as well as the main beach and casino. The security is a bit lax, but then again, how dangerous is Punta del Este? People walk home at 2 am with casino winnings. Cleanliness is something that needs to be worked on and the facilities are rudimentary. Upstairs has triple height bunks, which is the first I've seen. Fantastic atmosphere.

The Trip Hostel is near to everything, and has graffitis on the walls, is very colorful, and comfortable (you can see pics on their instagram). But they don't have any maps, and had some difficulties to help us around...
