overall a good hostel but walls are very thin so you hear everything in the next rooms and around you. mattresses are poor, need to be updated. staff are great

One of the best hostels I've ever been at. Clean, great staff, fair price and well located (near to the bus station)...

Thank you to the staff of The Trip Hostel for making me and my friend's stay in Punte del Este memorable for ever! You run an amazing hostel and definitely know how to have a good time and make everyone feel welcome so thank you! Also, good luck with your music career because you guys are awesome. Me and my friend stayed only one night in the hostel and it was very fun. Everybody really friendly, the kitchen is great and so is the terrace. As for being Punta del Este, the beer on their bar was at a good price and at night the staff led us to go partying and got us free drinks which was very cool. Todo muy buena onda!

This is definitely a party hostel. In Punta del Este clubs open at 4 am, so until that time there is an absurd amount of noise, yelling, weed-smoking and overall party atmosphere that gets tiring after a couple of days. The rooms have the thinnest walls in the world, so you can hear every conversation outside and in the next bedrooms. Also, rooms don’t have keys, so is quite unsafe for luggage.

really cool hostel and like everyone says it has a really good vibe. for someone who doesnt speak english it can be a bit intimidating, as almost all of the guests are argys or brazilians on a holiday, so they are right up for a big night. in that regard, dont bother sleeping here, its impossible. but other than that its a sweet place, really good kitchen, rooftop, and cant beat the location.

Lovely hostel in a great location. right around the corner from the bus station and the beach. the hostel has a nice kitchen to cook in and it has a roof terrace and front garden to drink in. The 12 bed dorm is very small and really should only have 8 to 10 beds as there is barely any room to put your bag. bathrooms are very clean

Lovely staff and great location. But if you want any sleep you are in the wrong place. While half my room was trying to sleep, music blasted well past 2am.

Good points, the location 1 block to La Mansa Beach, the Casino Conrad, to the Gorlero main street and ten to the port. The rooms are small without window but with air condition. The bath smell bad. I´ll not come back, sorry.

It's a good hostel. Located near Playa Mansa, the bus station and the casino. We stayed in the private room. It was clean but withou windows. The smell wasn't good. Staff was nice but the prices in summer are ridiculous, like any prices in Punta del Este.
