I tried 6-bed mix room and 2-bed mix room. I prefer the 6-bed one as the ventilation is better (places are larger u will feel less crowded). It is a building with 6 floors, no lift or escalator. Some people hate walking staircases but I am fine with it. Cleanliness is acceptable.
A pretty decent hostel I'd be happy to stay at again. The location is great for the Silom area of town (including Patpong as well as the business area). The room was reasonable, if dated, and the staff were friendly and gave helpful advice. Wifi was generally pretty reasonable, although on some occasions our devices couldn't get a connection.
The staff were lovely here, nothing to complain about for the price we paid. There is a board in reception full of thankyou notes from travellers and guests :)

The lady at the front desk is very nice. The location is excellent, right at the heart of Bangkok. The rest of it was ok.
This place is dirty and depressing. We paid for a private double room and it looked like it came out of the set of an 80's adult film. Fifth floor room with no elevator, dirty bathrooms crawling with ants, people mobbing you on the streets at night to buy porn and watch "ping pong" shows. We booked 3 nights and left after the first with no refund because it was so noisy and disgusting.
Nice and quite place, not for socializing so much but more for a quiet stay in a central area. Friendly and smily staff. Double room a big expensive for what is it (shared bathroom), but dorms are all right. Recommended
Very basic Hostel. It's ok for a few nights. The staff was nice, but the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. A plus is that they let you pay by credit card...
Nice place where to stay at! safe lockers, helpful staff, clean place. just be prepared to the bedrooms on the Sixth floor! but not a great problem if you know it. don't expect much from the breakfast as there is some coffee or tea and some cookies if you're lucky. its a quiet place, if you're looking for mad parties you shouldnt stay here as the place you're looking for is khao san road. Bangkok is a huge city so you'll have to move during the day to visit the whole city. this from any hostel!
The hostel is very well located, since close to the skytrain and there are a lots of restaurant near by. The staff is very professional and diplomate. They keep smile and try to serve their guest as nicely as possible. For the price I saw better amenities in Bangkok though.
stayed in the dorm on the 6th floor. if you see ants, tell the staff and they will resolve the issue right away. And as a precaution, tie your dirty clothes in a plastic bag or two so ants won't crawl into your stuff. also be aware of your height when walking up and down the stairs.
its clean, very strategic, comfortable common area, free flow of coffee and tea and smoke free!!
the dorm is on he 6th floor and they dont have a lift. but its perfectly okay with me. the rooms are clean except that the bathrooms i think are not regularly cleaned. overall, its value for money!
Really friendly staff on reception. Yes, there's a few stairs but it's fine, good value for Bangkok. It's location is great for being close to the BTS train and other transport, and Pat Pong night market. It isn't in Khao San Road (which is the main backpacker area/nightlife) but it was great for us spending a day and night there as a stopover. Good AC, wifi reached the rooms.
The hostel is kept clean and there was air conditioning (a must have when staying in Thailand). The staffs were really nice and helpful.
The girl running the place was lovely and helpful but we had problems with the aircon two nights in a row and being on the top floor it made sleeping impossible.. None of the power sockets worked in the room we had on the first night either. It is cheap though and the location is ok. Free coffee in the morning was nice as well.
