The only hostel in the big white ski resort.
We are a fully ski in/ ski out accommodation, located in the heart of the village at one of BC'c premier ski resorts. You will be able to walk out the door and ride down to the lifts, and when you're done you can ski/snowboard straight to the front door. The Urban Retreat hostel prides itself in being a clean and friendly place with fun and helpful staff. The hostel has a respectable, easy going and fun atmosphere in a place so far from reality you will never want to leave. We have weekly events to keep you entertained once the lifts are closed including movie nights, poker nights and the occasional theme night party.
The hostel has a large Kitchen and TV Room both equipped with big screen TV's and updated décor. We provide you with free internet facilities and Wi-Fi as well as a laundry and wax station for your convenience. We have over 100 dorm beds available with each room having between 4 - 10 beds.
Our hostel operates before the ski season mid October through to April. We offer both season long and short term stays. We have over 100 dorm beds available with each room having between 4 - 8 beds as well as a limited number of private rooms.

Was told that we could not check in until 4 when we arrived at 12. With this infomation not given to us over the phone when we rang the day before, we were more then not happy. We found another location to stay and tryed ringing the front desk without answer, thinking that they didnt mind (or want us to update them) about us not staying there we left it at that. Days later I was charged $60 for not staying there, Harsh and NOT happy. Staff member was rude on the front desk as well. Thx 4 nothing
