Cute and quirky hostel, super close to the ferry. I would stay there again.

Love love loved this hostel! Such a cozy little hide out. It felt like being at grandmas cottage (but with a hot tub). In the night they served up warm, homemade apple crumble and everyone could sit together in the living room and chat. A great place to stay and meet people if you're travelling solo!

Quaint little hostel, cool back yard hangout, and a short walk to anything in Picton.

Really nice communal outdoor area with spa and lots of benches - you can bring your own alcohol which is great. And generally it's quiet at night as its well staffed. Also a separate chill out sofa room with nice sofas. Good location next to the bakery and a 30 second walk to town. Bedrooms are clean and the linen is good - you would have to be very fussy to complain about this place.

It was a very quiet place, if that is what you are looking for. The dorm was one of the most spacious I have ever been in and I appreciated the little additions like mirrors, bedside lamps, and sinks. The dorm rooms were most times kept unlocked, and even doors open, which made me a bit uneasy with security.

It is a lovely place right in little town of Picton , it is an older home converted into a hostel so a little funky with the room lay-out. We had the female dorm room and was nice and large but right at the front with street noise and windows open to the street felt less secure. the bathrooms are not sufficient.

Just okay for a 1 night stay before catching ferry back to the North Island. Close to harbor side restaurants and nice walkable neighborhood. But, this is an old building and the furniture looks almost as old, and in dorm the metal bunk beds squeak and shift anytime someone moves so did not get a restful night's sleep due to guy in top bunk constantly shifting positions all night long.

Ome of the few hostels that has FREE wifi. This was great. The staff were friendly and the room I was in was huge. There was a mistake with my room but was upgraded for free and no hassle was created by it.
