please people! Sleeping in a nice and clean park is far better than this place. extremely rude stuff. Forget about the toilet and bath room because they were so disgusting that I went to the nearest restaurant to use their toilet instead. Construction site. spiders, insects. Don't go there even if you have to! If no decent place found, sleep in a bench in hyde park!

The hostel is in full reconstruction at the moment. It is literally a bed to sleep in at night with a continental breakfast in the morning in the middle of a construction zone. You can tell the building is pretty old, bathrooms that are broken or out of order. There is also no lift, if you are on the third floor when your key doesn't work you have to hike up and down quite frequently. The hostel is just outside of zone 1 so you have to pay zone 2 prices to arrive by the tube.

Well the whole building was under construction, loose electrical cords everywhere. One look at the kitchen and we decided to eat out.

My first impression walking in was that the pictures used online for this hostel must be completely out of date. The entire place smells old and rotting, the stair cases reminded me of the film The Shining with dirty red carpets patched with duct tape. The staircases and corridors were horrible to navigate and I was constantly lost. None of the fire exit signs led to an actual exit. The bathrooms were horribly old with separate faucets for hot and cold water. I do not recommend this place.

Kitchen way to small. no where to sit down and have coffee or eat any meals that were prepared. Internet was good

The water pressure of the shower is rather low, took ages to have a shower and hair washed. The hooks in the washroom are broken. The bed is not quite comfortable. After the flush, there is a loud noise from the toilet. There isnt a safe place for keeping your luggage before you check in or after check out. They posted notice to remain you it is at customers' own risk.

It's a good place where to stay. I slept in a double private room, it was good and clean. Stuff is ok, but the time of check in and check out are not flexible at all. Brixton is well linked to the center of london with victoria line, just few stops and you stay right in the center. At the end i say the hostel is on the average , nothing too bad and nothing too good, is just a good place where to sleep, but is not one of those hostels where you have fun.

Nice place lovey area, only a few stops to victoria, plenty of shops etc at the top if the street, lovely little park just along the street, perfect for when the weather is good. Watched andy murray win wimbledon in the bar :) excellent place would recommend for sure

it was difficult to meet people, there were lots of stairs, and the facilities just weren't that nice. my bed squeaked so loud that i woke up everyone whenever i rolled over, not to mention gettiing in/out of bed. it also felt a little sketch walking back to the hostel along a mostly-deserted residential road late at night from the metro. breakfast was fine and the staff was very helpful. i stayed there the weekend of wimbledon, which explains how crazy expensive the hostel was for me.

Easy to find the location even it's located at zone 2. Nice staff and ver helpful. Clean and tiny.

Arrived to hotel to find booking was cancelled, receptionist was very rude to us, did not explain properly why booking was cancelled, had no other rooms for us that night, difficult to find hotel, many shopkeepers close-by did not know where hotel was, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice hostel, good breakfast, the room was clean. No hot water in one of the shower, not convenient at all to take a cold shower. Other than that everything was fine. A good value for your money.

This hostel is great if you are looking for quite and cheap accomm in London with easy access to Heathrow and town via the Piccadilly Line. They have a reasonable free breakfast, I didn't use the kitchen during my stay. The rooms were clean and there were several families staying there which made for a quite hostel which is what I was after this time. I would stay there again.

Not very clean Shower without hot water

the Indian guy at the reception never smiled always angry

The location was great other than that, me and my friend comtemplated leaving the hostel early. The room and showers where not fully clean but the biggest issue of all was how the hostest treated individuals. the individual that i shared the hostel was involved in verbal dispute with the host that displayed a high level of unprofessionalism. With all that being said i would never, return to that hostel again. Sorry i am just being honest.

Good: - clean and good beds - sink in the room - good breakfeast bad: - I booked that hostel because hostelworld said it would have a parking space. But you have to pay for the space £ 2,40 per hour. - The staff was not very helpful to find a better parking space. - The TV in the room was broken. - The showers were dirty and had only cold water. - Originally we wanted to cook at least one meal, but the kitchen and all the tools were also dirty and ugly.

1.On the 2nd floor, there was no hot water in both showers. The 3rd floor showers were functioning, but for 1 day, one was out of order. The shower was also not very clean. 2.Although there was a kitchen available for guests, the place was very shabby on the whole. Everything looked old, dirty, and the space was cramped. 3. Extremely squeaky beds. 4. Stairwell was narrow. The whole interior could use a paint job. Should not be called a hotel at all! Only good thing : lounge & heating

One of the guys at the reception was very unfriendly, arrogant and moody, but the breakfast team was nice and diligent providing enough food and cleanliness in the breakfast room. The breakfast was okay. I stayed in a six-bed room which was so small that not more than two persons could be in the room in the same time. The mattresses are old and thus saggy and the bunk beds desperately need to get repaired or replaced!!! The ceiling in one of the showers was fully covered with mould!
