The window handle was missing in our room(in public room, too), so in the first night windows were open - outside 3-4C, so really cold in the room. Next day a guest (!) fixed it with brute force. In the small room (9bed) we ran out of air. you can choose: cold air or no air. Some of the receptionists were absolutely dark about the openings and prices of the most important museums. They close the main door around 10pm and you have to call them if you want to let in. Other receptionists were ok.

Staying in this hostel was quite nice, but security is non-existent. During the day, a person is able to walk from the street to your bed because it's an office building and usually there is nobody at the reception. Still, this isn't likely to happen, but you should pay attention to it.

This hostel was very comfortable and had plenty of space in the rooms. Large lockers were available to everyone in the room. The bathrooms were clean and worked fine, there were also plenty of them so there was never a wait. There is also a comfortable TV room as well.

The Location of "the warsaw hostel" is great. You can reach a lot of the attractions per feet and there are also bars and restaurants just around the corner. The staff is really friendly, speaks good english and is really trying to help you as good as possible. Best: FREE COFFEE!! :)

Loved staying here for New Year's. Staff are helpful and friendly. Warsaw is a lovely place. Only problem is you don't get keys to the room doors so they are left unlocked but if you put all your stuff away in the lockers then its fine.

Nice place but the common room is too close to the dorms meaning people who want to be a bit louder in the evenings can't or people who want to sleep can't because people are being to loud. Another negative is security, lockers are good but it is very easy to get into the hostel and any room without being noticed. Staff were lovely though especially Ania who taught us Polish and told us loads of things to do. The location is also fantastic and they have free tea and coffee! :)

Having booked a 12 bed dorm, we arrived and were upgraded to a private 2 bed. This was due to a large group arriving. After arriving back at the hostel at about 11.30 in the evening, the whole hostel was full of teenagers running around drunk. They then proceeded to shout, scream, bang until 7.30 in the morning. Whilst I understand the hostel has no control of their guests, they had absolutely no respect for paying guests who actually want to sleep, do not stay if you require sleep!!!

Quite quiet. Facilities were good. Would definitely stay here again.

Good value. Excellent location. Solid Wifi. Well-stocked supermarket next door. Hostel consists of six bunk rooms along a central corridor on the 1st floor (USA=2nd) of a large multi-use building. The wide corridor and high ceilings make it feel spacious. Basic kitchen with hotplate, microwave and fridge. Hostel can be hard to find the first time, so print a map. Not well marked on outside. Look for ornate entry with statue above the door.

I had a quick one night stay in in Warsaw and decided to come back to this hostel. Everything is still excellent here! The staff is really cool and friendly, the rooms are all very clean. I like hanging out in the common area and meeting new people from all over the world. I'll be back for sure!!!

Generally: a nice hostel with very helpful staff - but: In our absence they had to put an extra bed in our private room the evening before we left& instead of putting it closer to the door they moved our bags& dirty clothes. That night when we were sleeping, they locked up the door for new guests, seeming to have forgotten about us. The room stank of a previous pipe-smoker when we arrived. During our stay we kept the window open&when leaving the smell almost was gone. why not done earlier??
