The room was very basic with 2 fans not air conditioning meaning that it was always boiling hot. There was a construction site right outside the window as well so it was very noisy all day. The shower had extremely low pressure and there was only 1 bathroom for the whole floor. The location was excellent so if you want somewhere right by the beach that's basic and cheap it'd be a good choice. It wasn't a social place to meet people though as the only common area was the restaurant.

Great Location next to the beach and bars etc. Private room good size with fridge/tv and on-suite. However room not cleaned throughout stay until we asked for it to be done. Bins get full quickly as not allowed to flush toilet paper and built up. Needs to be done regularly as staff seemed to be able to sit in the bar area not doing much when we walked past. Balcony was awful - dirty, previous people's underwear left on a chair. Slightly impersonal feel in bar area and ate out elsewhere.

It is pretty expensive for what it is. The balcony is a total joke, it hasn't been cleaned for ages. The air-conditioning was also not really working.

I stayed in the four bedroom private with only me and one friend. It was great... we had a lot of space... there is a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a loft above with two more beds and a TV. The staff were nice and talked to the owner a few times, a very friendly guy. The location is a bit of a walk from the beach but doable and the Wave also serves food and and drinks which is convenient.

Absolutely amazing collection of books!! Room was nice and spacious with good a/c. Common area is the restaurant downstairs. Breakfast is overpriced but the rest of the food is really good. Pool table was fun.
