This hostel is located close to OSU and is convenient for many restaurants, and entertainment. I felt very welcome to the hostel and it is extremely clean while still keeping a nice, comfortable atmosphere which makes you immediately feel like you are home. The security system is great although the area seems very safe to begin with. The free breakfast is nice, especially the homemade bread. You can definitely tell there is a lot of love and thought put into this hostel making it wonderful!
I stayed in this hostel 3 times since 2011, at this time they were a new hostel and I can say that they envolved. The staff is nice and friendly, the location still good just in north campus, there is a bus a 1 min by walking, you also have lot of bikes. The hostel is much cleanier than 2 years ago, they have room services comming monday and friday. The house is big, you have 2 kitchen, 3 bathroom, 2 big TV, a patio and a backyard ... There is also a jackusi. One of the best, must see. Nick.

Cool hostel.great stay.comfy bed and nice people
After visiting 43 countries always staying in hostels, I found my favorite one! They don't have a huge swimming pool neither give rocking parties, but they have the most home environment I have ever seen. Tim knows each person's name and provides everything for you to be confortable. They have a delicious breakfast always with bread they own cook; they give free yogurt all day and free shampoo and conditioner. The hostel is a tradicional 2 floors american house, always super clean. Fantastic!
This is a great little hostel. Rooms are nice and clean, small common room with a tv and couches. free bike rental, free breakfast, free computers and wifi, free parking, pretty much everything a traveller needs. Tim, the guy who runs the place, is the nicest guy in world, made me feel very welcome, gave me information about the place and surrounding area. All in all i had a great stay here and will definitely stay here next time im in Columbus.
Great place to stay. Super close to OSU campus. Plenty of travel information. I was really impressed with all the goodies offered for visitors: hot tub, bike checkout, as well as the usual hostel stuff like kitchen, wi-fi, etc. Next time I come to Columbus, this will be my go-to place to stay.
I was only in Columbus to visit a research library at OSU, so the Wayfaring Buckeye could not have been more convenient - a short stroll through the charming, enormous houses of the university district. The bohemian end of town is in the same area as the uni, and there's a huge single-screen drafthouse cinema about 20 minutes walk from the hostel, too, with a great and thorough beer list. At 6'2", the attic room I chose was amusingly awkward, but the tradeoff for a comfortable bed well worth it,
The staff make the most out of limited space and slightly awkward layout of the building. One suggestion I would make is regarding the electrical connection for the kettle in the south kitchen- it should at least be a grounded plug, like one for a computer that can be switched on and off rather than having to handle that frail extension cord.

This was a fantastic place to stay. I met some very interesting, intelligent, fun people while staying here. It really felt like home. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and careful about the guests they allowed to stay, as they were very concerned about creating a safe and harmonious atmosphere. I'm looking forward to the next time I visit Columbus, because I know that I have a lovely place to stay.
