We arrived at the hostel with our reservation for a double bed but were given a twin bed room. Unsatisfied with this we went back to explain the situation. However, one of the staff members was very rude and claimed that they never received our specific booking for a double bed, and had no more double bed rooms left. An hour later, the other staff found out that it was their fault, and gave us a double bed. The room did smell of smoke, and shower was very dirty. Absolutely a terrible experience!

Very close to town. The rooms were basic but nice enought. Very spacious though. Although there was a bath, and no shower. Not great for a few days but for one night it was fine.

The location of this Bed and Breakfast cannot be beat. It is just one or two minutes away from the train station. Admittedly, it is a bit pricey, but the facilities are decent, the staff are helpful. You will need to bring your own soap. Beds are suitable for an overnight stay.

Hotel is very close to train station and just a short walk to city centre. Room was ok, however did smell of smoke. Shower in shared bathroom could do with a good clean. Free breakfast provided was ok. Overall hotel was ideal for staying on short visit to Oxford and good value.

One of our rooms came with a tub, but no shower head, making it rather a hassle when all we wanted was a quick wash-up. Breakfast was delicious, but the dining room was unfortunately close to the kitchen, resulting in sausage and bacon fumes permeating the dining room and our clothes before our breakfast was served.

The heating system could have been improved. You couldn't turn it on yourself and I found that I was cold and had to wear my jacket inside. The hall was so noisy as all morning and night you could hear the doors squeaking with people going through. Someone please fix those doors. Also the cleaners need to be a bit more vigilant. We found the last guests' underwear hanging on the back of the bathroom door!

The B&B was great, we were alone in a separate house, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast delicious.

yeah this hotel is near the railway station. very good to access. Where we stay is in a small house, maybe 500 meters away from the reception. In our room, there are a two-men bed with a small bed. however, the quilt of the big bed may be a little bit small to sleep well. in addition, traditional english breakfast will be offered for free.

This was a perfectly pleasant stay in a cheap hotel - great location next to the train station, several shops and cafes nearby, easy walking distance to the city centre. A bit basic but friendly staff, good breakfast and everything you'd expect.

Very nice team with a very good breakfast. Rooms are basic but it's enough for a short stay considering the moderate price.
