The staff were super nice and the bar was well priced. No drinking in the room rule forces you to spend money at the bar.

The room was very hot and the window did not open very far so with 12 people in the room it got very uncomfortable and hard to sleep

Everything was excellent, I mean we had a bar just downstairs, what else could we demand..... the beds are ok, our roomies were really party, the only thing that I did not like was that one night one of the staff (barman) was so drunk and threaded me to punch me in the face, I would had like to kick his irish ass, but as I prefer peace I decided to ignore him. great value for money.

I really liked the atmosphere here, especially because of the staff at reception (actually a bar, which, luckily for us, had started being open 24 hours on our first day) and the hostel's overall character and feel. Anthony and Spencer were awesome and helpful, and the charming guys will most likely invite you to have a drink with them if you talk to them. I didn't really sleep during my stay there, so I can't comment on the rooms but from what I remember they were good. The location is GREAT!

Even though we only stayed for one night, we were very satisfied with the White Ferry, all aspects (secure luggage storage, nice staff, good location...).

Not "spacious" as described. The 2 showers I used did not work well, either only a trickle of water or constantly changing temperature. Was clean at least. Kitchen closing time too early.

The White Ferry was a nice hostel! If you like walking around, its perfect, if not the underground/train station is under 10 minutes away. The staff are all really nice and good looking :) Only downside is that the kitchen closes at 10 so the only place to sit is either in your room or in the bar. Other than that, it was great!

Staff was excellent! We were in a dormitory of 21 people, one of my fear was to have to wait long for the shower in the morning...but it never happened!

The worst thing in my oppinion is tha fact that it was nearly impossible to take a shower with hot water in the two top bathrooms. The top toilet had a flashing light during the last two days of my stay and I know that the cleaning-lady was there and still it wasn´t changed. The staff working the last day was looking extremely bored and didn´t bother to clean up dishes after breakfast or even give the guests a smile. Other than that, the rest of the staff were great and friendly!

Aside from two of the showers working very poorly, everything was fine.

nice hostel, with a terrific pub :) it's a shame though that the bass keeps you out of your sleep sometimes, anyway, good place to stay!

I chose one of the cheapest hostels around Victoria. But it was so much better than I expected. It was pretty close to the coach station. And I could leave my luggage at the hostel on the check out day. The breakfast was okay. It could have been better with juices. But I was full enough.

one of the best hostels out there! what's missing are big secure lockers, and also electricity sockets in the rooms for each bed. also, ant-bacterial spray in the toilets would be nice.

Overall a good place with friendly staff, but the atmosphere was pretty dead the weekend we attended. Additionally adding an iron + ironing board would be sweet perk
