There were hairs of former residents on every pillow. Hair and dirt on the ground and in the shower. Kitchen was not clean. I booked on hostelbookers and when i got to Tralee the hostel was shut. A number was on the door and after I rang it the owner said that he didnt receive the booking. The hostel was closed and after an argument someone eventually came and let us in. During the 4 days I was there the hostel remained closed with no internet etc. The room was nice, clean and tidy but since the hostel was closed no cleaning was done to the carpets etc. There was nothing in the hostel itself to do.
