Personally i dont think it should be allowed be classified as a hostel as it has no means of cooking food i.e cooker stove or grill. It's cutlery and plates very extremely limited and showers were cold. I was extremely unimpressed and as i've stayed it many hostles al over ireland before i found it a let down to say the least!

The hostel it's self doesn't seem to have any staff, you need to deal with the hotel next door. The facilites are very poor, the hostel only had 2 showers and only one of these had a lock that worked on it. The showers also had holes in the ceiling where you could very easily see electrical wires. The kitchen was very dirty with mounds of clothes all over the floor, it appeared that these were used in the hotels kitchen.

Great location right next to a pub. Staff in the hotel (you have to check in at their reception - there was no staff directly at the hostel) was very helpful. There is no cooker in the kitchen, but otherwise the hostel was well equipped and very clean. Would stay again!
