Very cheap hotel with all the problems which it contains. But the comfort is good enough for the price. Bathroom cleaned every day. Chamber little furnished (just a very noisy iron bed which obliges you to put the mattress on the ground). Nice staff with the exception of a person. The only one positive thing was that the bathroom was clean but sometimes there were black hair in shower. Kitchen was dirty and there werent any usefull dishes. We saw a mouse everyday in the kitchen and also in our room. We couldnt open the window because it was screwed. We had no towels and in 7 days of staying nobody ever cleaned our room. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with my single room. For $54 a night and after reading some bad reviews I did not have high expectations. Besides, it's a hostel, right? But contrary to those reviews my room was spotless, quiet,with clean linens,a new matress and a great ac. The shared bath was cleaned every day. Staff were great,upper west side location felt safe. DO NOT GO THERE IT WAS DISGUSTING, COCKROACHES, MICE, NO CLEANING, DISGUSTING SMELL, A BROKEN BATHROOM AND SO ON. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE OK, SEEING THE PICTURES AND ALL BUT DO NOT GO THERE. YOU CAN GET CHEAPER PLACES WHICH ARE EVEN WAY BETTER. Riddled with bed bugs, roaches and rats. Don't do it! The kitchens were unusable and the staff were useless and uninterested. Never again!
