Fantastic staff - Vanessa, Amanda, Tanita, Nena, George et al. - thank you for all the help and advice! The hostel is really beautiful, rooms and bathrooms clean, nice courtyard to hang out it, and very close to the bus station. The people staying at Wild Fig were also very fun, and I really enjoyed spending time at the hostel even though Zadar is also worth the visit :)

There are much better hostels to stay at when visiting Zadar.

Nice hostel. You have to walk a little bit to reach the old city but it´s still in a good location. The hostel provided us the contact of a private transporting service that was almost the same price of the bus (for a big group) for Plitvice Lakes that we also reccomend.

Vanessa and Tanika were great, providing lots of good advice about the area and they very helpful with sorting out rental cars and itineraries for my trip. The hostel has a nice relaxed vibe, I was going to stay for one night and ended staying for three! Noise does travel from the living room to two of the adjoining dorms, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

We had an amazing stay at Wild Fig!! It was a 15 min walk from the bus station and about a 20-25 min walk to Old Town. But if you take the coastal walk it is well worth it! The facility was great, very open air and had a great kitchen. The owner and staff were beyond accommodating and helpful. When we got in a jam trying to go to Plitvice Natl Park, the owner bent over backwards to help us find a way to get there. THEY ARE SO GREAT! When we come back to Zadar we won't stay anywhere else!

Nicely decorated, great facilities: big kitchen, free computer/wifi, bar, lots of common lounge areas. Nice atmosphere. Cold at night, but extra blankets and small heater available. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and gave great suggestions for things to do. Seemed to be not enough hot water in the morning. No door ever seemed to be locked, and with only small lockers, felt a little insecure, but it is in a residential area, so i don't think there is reason to worry. Nice area!
