Really cool atmosphere in this hostel, very international! Friendly staff, nice kitchen for all, tasty wild figs directly from the tree. Just 5 minutes walk to the beach, that's awsome. Hostel is a bit outside the center, with car no problem.
Had a fantastic time at the Wild Fig, one of the nicest hostels I've been to. Originally planned on staying for one night, ended up for five largely due to the hostel itself. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat. A little far from the old town, but nicely located by the bus terminal and beaches. / lots of smoke billowing around, may be a minus for a non-smoker.
Really nice staff and facilities. Far from old town - you have to walk around 30 minutes to get there. Supermarket 2 minutes away. Nice beach close by.
Great kitchen; large, clean, lots of equipment. Rooms only had small locker, big enough for a small bag, not a large backpack. The location is a bit out of the way; about 20 mins walk to old town, but not a problem if you don't mind the walk. A pretty well-run hostel.
The hostel was nice enough. There weren't end suite bathrooms which would have been nice. Only stayed 1 night and it worked well for that.
This place has an excellent atmosphere. The hostel is near the bus station which is a plus. A walk to the beach will take 10 to 15 minutes, and to town 20 to 25 minutes. But its all nearby and most of the time you will be with others form the hostel because its a social place. Daytrips are organized almost every day. Supermarket is around the corner so go and buy breakfast and eat outside on the porch of the hostel. Loved it there, and will be back.
Common area lots of mosquito; wifi doesn't work. My rating is based on short time I was there. They're so disorganized that they get overbooked. Happened to me, so they moved me to an apartment run by local lady. I met many people in the other place who were overruns of WildFig, even after 3-4 days. This never ever happened to me before in all the hostels that I've stayed in around thr world/
This has been one of my favourite hostels on my five month trip. The location is a bit out of town, but it is only a short walk from the main bus station. Town is about half an hour walk away. All facilities were clean and kitchen well equipped. The common area is outside under the patio which is nice because it is really hot! There is also a bar and the staff are great. Generally just a great atmosphere.
Loved this hostel, kitchen was amazing and staff and owners were friendly. Room had a lot of bugs and Mosquitos and quite a bit out if town but we needed a place to relax after a big few days. Would recommend!
Awesome people there, met a good bunch of other travellers. Clean and a big kitchen and lounge area. Only bad thing was it was about a 20-30min walk from the old town, but it's right near some cliffs you can jump into the sea, so makes up for it!
Great Hostel, you can see that it's managed by former travellers
It is a good place to stay and meet other people, it is kind of expensive though knowing that they don't even give you a towel and basically you need to pay for everything extra. People were very nice, easy going and I had a great time there
Where do I start, from the massive well equipped kitchen, the free laundry service, the day trips to national parks, the smoothy and cocktail bar, the happy hour, he weekend BBQs, the ten minute walk from the bus station, the friendly and helpful staff with endless knowledge, the different activity held each night of the week, the cheap bike hire, the out door chill out areas, the hammock to the semi out door reception! Defiantly worth a visit, I know I'll be back.

It has one of the best ensuite bathrooms I've ever encountered on a hostel. Nice staff and decoration in the hostel, has a bar providing drinks and shots at good prices. The hostel also organizes activities like excursions, BBQs, pub crawl, etc... It's a bit far from the city center but still a walking distance (like 30~40 min). I would stay there again.
My stay there was really cool! Amazing common area outside to meet other travellers, good kitchen facilities, the staff was always there, friendly and helpfull... Close to supermakets and beaches and you can reach the old Town with a short walk or a longer one along the sea if you prefer! Nothing bad to say, I definitely recommend this place and I Will stay there again if I come back to Zadar! Thanks a lot, and a spécial thanks to Pierre (staff) who did an amazing barbecue for everyone!

The wild fig hostel had a great athmosphere for those times you just wanted to chill a bit, great prices in the bar as well as a great staff that organized different theme nights (such as curry night on Wednesdays) as well as trips to other locations and adventures. Although a bit expensive I would stay there again.
Beautiful hostel with amazing staff! The lounge was such a nice place to relax in with plenty of info and help from the front desk. Bathrooms were cleaned daily and beds were comfortable. Loved the communal and friendly atmosphere about this place.. Pierre was super friendly and will always go out of his way to make sure you are having a great time! Was a shame we didnt stay longer.
Awesome hostel It's 15-20 minutes away from old town by walking but I prefer it, staff were amazingly friendly even when people couldn't stay here the blonde Australian women who worked there went out of her way to get accommodation at other places. And fig the blind albino cat is too freaking cute!
