Only thing that I was a little worried about was that the doors were always unlocked.

I disliked an extra charge of 5 euros just for leaving my luggage and using common room for 5 hours after check-out time. Usually such services are included in costs.

Nice place not too fare from the center. Staff was good and this hostel was very clean. Only one thing which could be improve: Breakfast is not so copious but stay good. Nice place ... I recommend

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I satisfied the facilities and location. However, there was no room key.

nice hostel, the guy at reception was very nice. Just stayed there for 2 days and didn't do a lot of "hostel life" so I can't really tell how the vibe is. Clean bathrooms, the double room wasn't big but doable for two nights. Wi-fi free of charge and two laptops are available in the common room free of charge as well. Reccomended!

There are just 2 bathrooms for many rooms. We had to wait several times. otherwise its nice but the fact that the kitchen and the outdoor area close at 23.30 is a bit sad. Staff was very friendly and the house itself is very nice! was very clean! cosy atmosphere

lovely hostel, we had a great time there. it is a bit of a walk up the hill from the main part of town, but it helps you justify that extra tart!

I had a really good time at the Yellow House! The staff was really kind and always helpful! The house has a lot of charm, especially the backyard, you feel at home laying down in the couch after a good day in Porto and it was nice sharing travel stories with others backpackers. I send a special hello to Mariana who works there, a very friendly girl!!! the location is not the best in the City but not far from everything and it's a great deal!! I recommend!!

Overall decent experience here, nothing special, nothing bad. Thought the location was pretty good, can walk most places.

Everything was perfect, awesome staff, good basic breakfast, fridge and internet for free. The security is good enough with a pin on the main door changing once in a while and a cleaning lady everyday, everything was perfect!

We stayed in a private room. It was clean, TV in room and the staff were friendly. No problem with the hostel.

The hostel is in a cool old estate with really high ceilings and ornamental wood trim on the ceiling. The rooms are massive with only 6 people in each of them.

Everything was very nice, especially the receptionistas and the garden, lounge and athmosphere, the only thing what I would evaluate as not so good were the beds, which were very comfortable but they squeaked when turning around.

I stayed at the yellow house for 3 nights and I have to say it was perfect as it was away from the hustle and bustle. It was very quiet and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very good facilities to make your own meals and the shower rooms are very clean with hot running water. I highly recommend the Yellow House for its location which is 3 minutes walk from the metro station and 10 minutes walk to the town square.

The Yellow House Hostel its a good place with a nice atmosphere and staff. It has a great location close to the centre of the city and close to a metro station. Its a clean place and it has a great kitchen and backyard. I totally recomend this place to stay.

It is a nice, clean place, great garden behind, good location, stuff is just excellent! Kitchen is big and fully equipped. I was disapointed with some things. All rooms are open 24h a day so basically everyone who is in the hostel can come to your room. Lockers are to rent extra. There is 5 € "tax" to left the baggage after check out. Wireless poorly works (especially if you need it for you work). I would prefer to pay € extra and not charge for facilities that are usually free in other hostels

The Hostel is in the centre of Porto. The building is old, but very nice indeed. The staff is very helpful and you feel from the first time like your home. I strongly recommend it. The kitchen is huge and there is also a very beautiful back-garden where you can relax drink your beer and talk with folks.
