We took a doble room which was really really nice! The stuff was really helpful, they told us about the free city tour which was really interesting. The hostel is located in the city center, very close to all the sights. And it has nice garden in the backyard.

The hostel is well located, near the center, bars, supermarket and subway! The staff is very cool, specially, Mariana! The common areas are awesome! The backyard is the best feature of this hostel, full of space, the perfect spot to have dinner or start a night out! Yellow House is recomended!

Really cool staff, the owners are really charming and they do have great sense of humor! Besides location and really tiny breakfast it is a pleasant stay for a really nice price.

Went into this hostel expecting great things based on how it appears on the webpage. Do not be fooled by this. The hostel is a decent 30 mins to the river (where you will end up spending most of your time). The hostel looks nothing like the photos. Staff were more interested in taking your money than helping you out. We got moved rooms from a 3 bed to a 6 bed when we were informed the 3 bed room had no windows. Visited Yes! Hostel where friends were staying, 100% better than Yellow House!

One of the best hostels I've been so far! The staff was so kind and the athmosphere made me feel like at home. It's just a bit far from the city center but not too much! I recommend the walking tours :-)

We only stayed one day in Yellow House and we really missed staying there more time. The girl who attend us was really nice. She showed us the entire hostel and offered all the help we could need. The kitchen is fully-equiped and the garden is really beautifull. People there were very nice and the whole hostel was very clean. I woul'd doubt going there again if I visit Porto in the future again.

The Yellow House is definitely one of the best hostels I've ever been. Great location, just a few minutes walk from central Porto and really close to Trindade Station which is the main station in the city. The staff was very kind and helpful and made all the difference during my stay. The rooms and toilets were always nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely hostel! It really works with the type of experience you'd expect from Porto. It's got a great atmosphere - there are many different types of people here and the garden provides a really cool place to talk to different people and listen to music together. You get both party people and more relaxed. Quick walk to the main area and good clean facilities. The breakfast is included but not very substantial - two bread roles and jam. Otherwise I have no complaints! Lovely staff.

I loved this hostel! The hostel itself was really great... a lot of space to relax and a great kitchen. The staff were fantastic and the owners were around quite a bit. They were all wonderful and super helpful. I was interested in taking a surf class and they called and set up the appointment for me and everything. I couldn't have asked for a better hostel.

They made me feel welcome from the second I knocked on the door. During my stay they treated me like family, giving me a home away from home. I hope my travels will once again find me at The Yellow House!

We loved staying here! The staff was so friendly, and it really felt like a home! Everyone cooks together and hangs out in the kitchen, the garden is beautiful and the location was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! And doing a free walking tour with Wild Walkers is an absolute must to get to know Porto - its well worth your time!!
