Awesome hostel! Great fun, good bar, & easy to meet people as a single traveller. Only minor con was the kitchen is more just a small fridge and microwave - luckily there are some great places to eat nearby.
Not good value for money. Bad kitchen and lounge. Happy hour discount only 50cents. Money making rip off. Staff too over excited like fake sales (which sums up hostel, sales) Ppl and not genuine
The hostel was more like a hotel and worth the little bit extra cash, the facilities and the concierge made you feel like you were in a hotel, it was super central and easy to get to from the main train station as well as the staff, a young man Paul spent plenty of time answering all our questions about tours and with his help and the awesome FREE night tour we were able to smash out Rome in 24hrs! Would definitely stay there again!

Loved it! So much fun. Great bar and restaurant, and perfect location super close to the metro.
Got upgraded to a private room. Didn't see the hostel much. Friendly staff though. Need to take better care of the holding bags. Anyone can go in there and grab a bag. Otherwise good hostel would stay again!
Staff were very helpful! Definitely not the place to stay if you want to get a good nights sleep but great if you want to party!
Loved this hostel. great location next to the main train station, Termini. Atmosphere is the great! Great bar! great food! Great roommates! Great beds! I loved everything about this hostel. Would definitely recommend and return.
I guess it's a good enough hostel. I only stayed for a night but the rooms were alright, power outlets and lights for every bed. It was a bit too spread out for my liking, so it was harder to connect with other travelers imo. The staff at the restaurant right next door (which is recommended) was sadly very rude to me so I decided to leave again) but breakfast at the yellow pub/bar was good and not too pricey.
Good hostel bar, nice people, amp is a legend ;) hahaha
Thank you for all during my 4 night stay in your hostel. Your all staffs and guests were nice and friendly. I stayed like home.
The stay at the yellow was great. The rooms are clean and safe and the staff are all very helpful. Definitely take the night and day walking tours. Tom is a great tour guide!
This is the hostel to stay in Rome if you want to party with fellow travellers. Can be a little too lively in the evening if you want a quiet drink and conversation. If you stay here make sure to do both the night and day tours with Tom to really get an entertaining snapshot of the cities history
The staff is amazing and is very secure.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for but the yellow just wasn't for me. If you like hanging out and chilling with interesting people. It's hard to do that here. They close the outside portion of the bar at midnight and force everyone inside or down the block. I get it, people are loud. But the bar is a disaster. So many inconsiderate people so little space. Location is good but could be closer to the sights. Imagine staying inside a nightclub, if that sounds fun enjoy the yellow.
The Yellow is a good party hostel if you want that. The room I stayed in was in the reception building and was quiet and clean. The staff kinda sucked. The bar across the street gets busy at night and the outside patio closes at midnight so you're squished into the already crowded bar. The breakfast is good in the morning though. Coffee isn't bad.
I will never stay at The Yellow again. On my first night I receive bed bug bites. The staff moved me to another room but did nothing to resolve their bed bug situation. Even when I told one of the cleaners about my bed, she said ok changed the sheets and left the same blanket on the bed! I know they gave that bed to another traveller that night and did not inform the rest of the room. Beware of room D57 on the 5th floor across the street from the main office. Showers are clean disgusting too.
If you are looking for a place to party with other young travellers than this is the spot for you. It's hard to sleep though if you want an early morning and are skipping on the 24 hour bar. The female staff were very friendly. The rooms are big but pretty much the bare essentials. I did like though that they had lockers under the bed big enough to fit my whole pack. The bouncers were also super nice there. I would go there again. Especially since it's a 5 minute walk from the main train
the location was awesome just a few block from the main metro/bus/train terminal. the hop on bus stops were down the street and plenty of places for shopping or walking or eating very close by. staff was great, place was clean and wifi was a little iffy at times but it got the job done. love the yellow, love rome, would totally come back!
I paid for a private room and was charged for double the cost. Ok I understand that double rooms require I pay for 2 buy this place costed more than some nice hotels. OK maybe I didn't read the find print somewhere but I got charged $700 for 5 days in Rome at this hostel. Seems a little high.. I believe this needs to be made more clear on the website. Place was quiet enough after midnight when the bar closed with the windows closed. I had a room on the streett side. Room was small.
the seating outside the street at the bar makes the hostel. Good friendly vibes and so easy to get chatting and mingle with the people. Great street and atmosphere. The bar was good, except the male staff behind the bar are very arrogant and generally rude. especial the italians. the female staff are all friendly however. The rooms are nice and clean, bathrooms basic. there is a party bus tour, which is pure cringe. pretty expensive rates for rooms in general. but half decent social hostel
