Best hostel. Cheap, middle of city, big luggage storage which I love.

Everything is very good except that their is no hanger in bathrooms to hang cloths/ towel. Absence of kitchen is another thing which disappoints but a nearby pizza shop, in someway makes it up. Location wise its very good.

It was a great hostel with great staff... the only problem: it was about 5ºC in the bar... the rooms were warm enough, though. It is located within 30 minutes walk from the Forum (or 2 metro stations) and 5 minutes from the main train station. Definitely recommended!

The staff at The Yellow were immensely patient and helpful... I had some trouble getting to Rome and I had to change my reservation 3 times, and they were super nice about it. The bar has a great atmosphere and its a good place to hang out and meet other guests. The barman is super nice and friendly. The hostel has an elevator, which is great when youre traveling with heavy suitcases. Great location, just a few blocks away from Roma Termini. I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

Best hostel I've ever stayed at.

The good -- awesome value for money, super helpful staff (esp. the cute Spanish girl at the front desk...you know who you are ;) ), the bar at the hostel is a great place to meet people the bad -- their internet provider changed recently, and I couldn't get my laptop (running Internet Explorer) to connect..apparently Google Chrome works well though, so if you're going, be sure to install google chrome before you go (internet worked great on my phone, but IE was being silly). -Ryan from Canada

I arrived at 3 pm and a very nice man checked me in. No welcome drink for me, as I read on other reviews! I am not a picky customer, but to me cleanliness is the most important thing, and this is not the case !! As I said before, I arrived at 3 pm and the bathrooms were ditry. I went out, and when I came back at 2 am the bathrooms were still dirty. I woke up at 9am and the bathrooms were, of course, dirty. My question is: when do you clean them???

Great location, big room but old. Staffs need to improve a lot, without any recommendation for go out at night and not likely to give much general information. Do not recommend this hostel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Yellow and recommend it to any traveler. The staff are wonderful, it's well located and the bar is great. On the whole, the best hostel I've stayed in in Europe.

Well, great 100%! Fun, cheap, clean,nice staff, great location! Super people around! We have fun-fun-fun! :) Schmutzig! :D:D:D (Specially for our german friend) We love it! The best Ristaurante just next to hostel! P.s. Sugesstion - can make more info about place to visit at night time!

It was great and pretty packed for winter time. Having a bar was the best facility and convenience. Close to 2 different subway stations (blue and red line). The staff were great and very helpfull. I was upgraded and pretty much had a room to myself, but could meet people from all over down at the bar. I definetly recommend it =)

There was mold in one room but they were very accomodating

Very nice hostel, with a excellent location, really nice and fun staff, and there are even a bar-party going on in the first floor! :) The only bad thing is that there are no lifts, and no breakfast. But it's really close of the Termini Stazione and there are several restaurants and cafes next to the hostel. Really recommended :)

The staff at the front desk were very rude to us when checking in. They didn't put a yellow wrist band so we could drink in the bar after 11.30pm. Some of the staff were not very friendly and didn't really want to answer our questions. Some of the other staff were lovely. There is no common room only the bar with over priced drink for a hostel. The food is expensive and not very good. The rooms are clean and have great cages/lockers for your stuff.

Not good experience at all .. Nothing work ( crazy ) Girl in the morning told me the wrong info all the time ( not helpfull at all )

I have had the time of my life !

Hostel and staff were nice. Rooms, toilets and showers were clean. Location also not so far from the city center it is really closed to the metro station and you can go where you want easily. But the only negative thing was TAX!!! When we got to the hostel they've told us that we also requiered to pay the 2additional euro as tax. And it was not indicated while we were making our reservation. I' ve neer met a situation like this. It was definitely not nice.

I loved it here! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the hostel had a great vibe! I recommend this place to everyone going to Rome! What made the experience special was the staff. They are fun and made my stay wonderful! Make sure you say hi to Chris and Domenic because they are great! Two thumbs up for sure!!

The staff is always friendly!

The Yellow was my first experience in a dormitory hostel and it was fantastic. My dorm-mates were very friendly and like minded as far as traveling. The staff was very helpful and fun! It was nice to have The Yellow as my home base at the end of the day. I'm a bit older than most of the other guests but everyone was so interesting I never felt out of place. They tended to party a bit later than me but the room was quiet so I was able to call it a night and get a good night's sleep.
