I came to the yellow three years ago and I came back now. Still the same, a cool party hostel. I know Rome is expensive, still the yellow seems to be pretty expensive to me. Also the location is a bit far from the center, not too bad though. I would recommend it if your a party goer to meet people, otherwise maybe check out some other options.

This hostel shouldn't be considered a "party hostel". The staff from the bar are a little bit rude . The staff from the reception are ok. The wi-fi in Italy, I don't know why is terrible, nut in this hostel was ok. People who works in reception are much better than who works at the bar.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WISH TO SLEEP. It is advertised that it is primarily a party hostel. Don't book that thinking otherwise! Everybody seemed to be having a good time with their party. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. There are cages under the bed for your stuff (bring your own lock) the bathrooms were good except i am really short so had issues reaching the shelf above the shower head to put my stuff so it wouldnt get wet. could use hooks on the door.

The yellow is by far one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's fun, clean and conveniently located. The staff was always kind and willing to help. Definitely stay here again next time I'm Rome.

this hostel is super american, they play beer pong the afternoons and the bar is great, nightlife is good too even though the laws in Italy are strict and its difficult to keep the party going. the have a kind of small club under ground where they keep going. my room i found to be good but my girlfriend complained about the bathrooms and the cleanliness. it is also really close to the train station and there are always people just hanging out at the bar.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Amazing atmosphere great for meeting people and great parties. Facilities were also excellent and location was very close to the station.

The Yellow markets itself as a party hostel and really delivers (seems like a number of the guests were there exclusively to party; maybe a waste of Rome but to each his own). The facilities were fine, nothing special, but everyone who works there was really nice and the atmosphere was perfect for meeting other people. I'd recommend the place and plan on staying there again.

Everything was wonderful here, I cannot recommend this place enough. Rome was good, but the yellow was GREAT!!! Best bartenders, so much fun! I didn't even leave the yellow at night, so many people go to the bar there. Also the rooms are nice and everything was very clean. Absolutely loved my stay there and I want to go back before I leave Italy. Also such good food, the Roma burger was amazing.

If you want to party then this is definitely the hostel for it. Pretty basic dorms, if you want a quieter space I would definitely recommend asking for a room in the annex away from the bar.

FANTASTIC hostel!! Yellow is definitely a party hostel, but because the rooms are all set just a bit apart from the bar and basement club it is easy to get away from the noise if that's what you want. Breakfast is good and cheap, drinks prices are fair, and happy hour lasts 9 hours. Fantastic stay - thank you!

The yellow was a great place to meet people since there was an awesome bar downstairs. The dance floor in the basement was incredibly small, but a good option if you don't want to travel far. The main bar closed at midnight though, which was unfortunate, but the bar in the basement was open later. The rooms are nice, the food is good, location is good, 20 minute walk to the main sights and very short walk to termini station. Awesome place!

We had a great stay at the yellow. It's really easy to make friends and the rooms are typical hostel rooms. The staff were helpful when you asked questions but didn't go beyond that. Overall great experience though and I would definitely stay their again

Great hostel! The bar downstairs was fun and very convenient. Walking distance from all sightseeing, and 6 blocks from metro. Not close to the clubs, but the bar and basement pretty much cover it. The other travelers we met there were what really made our trip incredible. Partied together every night, and saw all of Rome together in three days. We made life long friends here. The staff is nice and very helpful. They are there 24/7 so that was a plus. The security was the best we had in Europe.

I had a great stay. I did not have wireless in the annex. They should really set that up as quickly as possible or let people know that those rooms do not have wireless available.

"best prices in the city", the bar is overpriced and they don't let you bring your own food or drinks into the common area (which is only the bar). Buy out one of those random apartments where that old guy is living, and make a common area lounge where people can also bring their own stuff to drink from time to time. Overall the rooms were clean, spacious and nice. Met lots of people and partied hard. It was fun, but terribly expensive :( That's just Rome though I guess
