Hostel and staff were nice. Rooms, toilets and showers were clean. Location also not so far from the city center it is really closed to the metro station and you can go where you want easily. But the only negative thing was TAX!!! When we got to the hostel they've told us that we also requiered to pay the 2additional euro as tax. And it was not indicated while we were making our reservation. I' ve neer met a situation like this. It was definitely not nice.

I loved it here! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the hostel had a great vibe! I recommend this place to everyone going to Rome! What made the experience special was the staff. They are fun and made my stay wonderful! Make sure you say hi to Chris and Domenic because they are great! Two thumbs up for sure!!

The Yellow was my first experience in a dormitory hostel and it was fantastic. My dorm-mates were very friendly and like minded as far as traveling. The staff was very helpful and fun! It was nice to have The Yellow as my home base at the end of the day. I'm a bit older than most of the other guests but everyone was so interesting I never felt out of place. They tended to party a bit later than me but the room was quiet so I was able to call it a night and get a good night's sleep.

Definitely one of the better hostels I've stayed in. I was traveling alone so having the bar there was the perfect way to meet other people. The staff were incredible - willing to answer questions, give opinions on sights, print out boarding passes, etc. My only complaint is about security. The yellow wrist bands make it so that only hostel guests can enter the bar area, but there's really nothing stopping someone from walking straight off the street and up to the rooms.

Great location, very near metro stations. Rooms are very clean and facilities are good. I ended up staying two more nights. Will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Rome.

yeah alright.

we had two bathroom.. one had no light, another one had no hot water. my whole body itches during sleeping.. it wasn't bed bug but I think the bed was not clean enough.

Awesome bar inside the hostel! Great for drinking when it is not weekend and you depend on other travelers to have some fun. I missed some curtains on the beds to add some privacy. Oh...you can get a free beer if you like the hostel in Facebook. Do not miss that :)

Very nice, clean and fun hostel. In a good and convenient location (right by the train station). They serve excellent food and the hostel has a bar, where a lot of the guests lounge. It's a good way to meet people. Most of the staff were very nice and welcoming, except for one woman there who was very rude.

The heat was broken in our room. It was freezing. We asked for more blankets but they said that they didnt have anymore. No apology for the broken heat.... Nothing. I felt like they dont care at all about their guests. I mean i know its a backpackers hostel, not the ritz... But come on!!! We were freezing!!! The bathrooms were gross too. There were no hooks to hang your stuff and nowhere to comfortably change. (it was coed) you were lucky if you got hot water in the shower.

The layout wasn't great for chilling out and relaxing. It was freezing cold all the time and the only seats were bench style with very dark lights. Wifi was only available in the lobby and even then was very slow. Drinks were more expensive than around the City. Breakfast was not free and very expensive for what it was. On the flipside, staff were very friendly, the whole place was clean and they had free ipads that you could use

Come for the sociability, not for the comfort. A decent bar in the lobby area to hang out, even a downstairs room for beer pong. Rooms are pretty janky; my bed squeaked at the slightest movement, mattress had giant lump in the center (would've been better off sleeping on the floor if I had a sleeping bag), and is just had an unclean feeling to it. Restrooms were pretty poor as well. Low water pressure, unstable hot water, dirty. Lots of cool people here, just don't expect too much comfort.

they were unorganized with the room and beds, difficult to have an italian conversation with the staff because they are all foreign and speaks really few italian. don't ask them infos because they know really a few about rome and place where to go

The location is not the best, but with 10 or 15min walking it is possible reach main sightseeing. This hostel is the perfect place for people who want to make new friends and to go party. The pub of the hostel is great. Unfortunately to be identified as a hostel guest we need to stay all period with a terrible yellow bracelet. However I could recommend it. It's very organized and they make effort to keep it clean even if it's impossible sometimes (too many people for few bathrooms).

A great hostel in a great location! I had really good times at this hostel!!! The only thing I didn't like is the fact that breakfast is not included but besides this the hostel is great!!!
