Room was very hot all day and night...heater ran constantly. Key didn't work sometimes to the door, had to go to front desk to get it fixed....although everyone has to wear a wristband and "no one will be allowed in after 11:30 without it" the other people in our room had guest(s) over every night...and one stayed the night every night. Which turned a four person room into five. Maids enter room while you're in there without permission (ex: what if you were changing?). Cold AM showers

Really good value for money for the location in Rome. We had an awesome time here and the staff were really good to us. This is a good hostel to meet other travelers since theres a bar on the bottom floor.

Great bar, bad hostel - dirty, ugly, unfriendly staff... The location is also not so good - very close to the Termini station, but a little dangerous at night. I would definitely not recommend it, the only plus is the bar, which is a lot of fun!

It was rally bad that there is no breakfast. Just if you ask something in the bar, but it is too expensive for few food. The staff isn't so sympathetic as other hostels i've been in europe. The location is great, realy near the termini station.

Is a great hostel to stay in. The staff is very nice and they interact a lot with the guests. The bar is a little bit expensive, but they prepare several cocktails. It is very conveniently located close to the main train station and to the two main train lines of Rome.

It has no kitchen, they sell the breakfast in the common area instead, wich is kind of a bar/restaurant, so, it is like a hotel with the atmosphere of a hostel. Stuff is really kind except for the guy that is pretty similar to an oompa loompa; he's really wrude. The bar is open until 4 am, good for knowing people. Nice hostel, I would come back. Wifi is a mess.

If you want a party hostel, Yellow is a great choice in Rome. Facilities are good, close to the Termini Station so easy to get to, and the bar is a great meeting point each night.

The hostel was highly rated by reviewers thanks to it's "thriving" bar, but the bar was kind of dead most of the time and it's not the key factor that should make you choose this hostel. Price was good, although some mistakes of the receptionists during the check-in process almost made us pay extra 22 euros for no reason. The shower, at least in our room (6 bed mixed with private bathroom) was extremely small with no place to hang out clothes or put them. One day we also had no hot water.

Hostel staff were great and the location was perfect. Some of the staff aren't so great but 95% of them are awesome. I would love to stay there again. Highly recommend.

The staff are really not helpful, especially the person who has to work the night shift in the reception. The rooms have bad locks, the hot water is not working and the bathrooms are mixed for both gender. And there was no breakfast provided and no kitchen!! This is the worst hostel I've stayed on during my Europe trip

The Yellow was an awesome place to stay our first two nights in Rome--there are some amazing people to meet there and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are fairly bland and kind of remind me of a hospital, but the atmosphere made up for this. I didn't try to take a shower there, but my friends did and either had freezing cold or burning hot showers both times. The location is good--about 30 minutes walk from the Colosseum. I would stay there again.

The hostel is close to the termini station so It's easy to get there. The location seems to be not really safe since we didn't had any propper lockers just a cage beneath the beds that need a lock to be safe, when we wanted to buy a lock in reception they told us they were out with locks, so if you're staying here take your own from home. The staff was nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean. I cannot really complain about anything there but the lack of lockers.

It would have been more convenient to have wi-fi in the rooms in addition to the main floor, or perhaps there should be more computers available to work on. Other than that though, everything else was good.

Elevator is a bit sketchy and sometimes didn't work.

The location is absolutely good. Staffs are very nice as well. However, it was too cold at night with the very thin blanket, and there 's no hot water for one if two people taking shower in the same time.

The staff was rude and unhelpful. The elevator did not work so I had to drag my suitcase to the 3rd floor. In the room there were no bed lights so whoever would come during the night would turn on the main light and wake up others.
