Very nice for young people, easy to meet others in the bar and it was a nice atmosphere. Very close to the main train station and easy to walk to pretty much everything but the Vatican.

The best hostel I've visited this far! The staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and the location was just perfect. We had a private room for three persons and we really liked it. A great bonus was the free rent of iPads. I can warmly recommend The Yellow hostel for everyone! :-)

The hostel was clean and had a fun bar below. However, there are many extra and overpriced fees such as the towels. The use of ipads is a unique plus to staying there. The free orange juice with a meal is also a nice incentive, howeve the orange juice is hardly orange juice, and almost undrinkable. The comforters are of very poor quality and the fibers poke through the sheets. The room was freezing cold due to a window that does not close, and left a feeling of lack of security.

A very good value for 10 euro, must be one of the cheapest hostel in Rome but with a good review. All facilities are great, but there is no kitchen and common room, and it could be quite cold in the night, the blanket only helps a little. But very good location, only 3 minutes from nearest metro station and still in walking distance to Termini station.

Great staff, the bar has a very good environment, the idea of ipads rental has turned out o be very helpful. The cleanliness during the day depends on the guests, but every morning the bathrooms and rooms would be very clean. And towel for free was a great suprise (although it might be writen on their site - I hadn't read it though)

We stayed with my girlfriend for 2 nights in a double room with bathroom ensuite. Everything was very clean, the location is perfect and at night there's a lot of fun.. We just had some trouble with the heating.. By the way very good place to stay..

Great hostel! Bedrooms were clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. We booked a 12-person room, but were upgraded to a 6-person for free. There were lockers under the beds for our stuff, but bring your own locks or buy them at the desk for 3.50. There were plenty of toilets and showers each with their own door and sink. Helpful staff and the Rome-ing walking tour they recommended was excellent. The bar downstairs was always lively and had good prices too! Free drink at check-in! Good location too!

We have no complaints about this hostel. Great value, clean, comfortable, equipped with everything needed. I stayed in a dorm room with my boyfriend for a few days and we really enjoyed our stay. Staff were also kind enough to refund our last night when our plans changed suddenly. The free drink on arrival is a nice touch.

It was a very nice hostel. Make sure you bring a big lock the beds have lockers underneath but you need a big lock. The showers have no where to put your stuff to change into. There is a bar and they give you a free drink. It is located close to the train station and a subway stop. The gelateria across the street is out of this world.
